Yeah, going by TW3's recommended and hwat those gave in-game, it should be a mix of high/med at 1080 60FPS.

I have severe doubts that it will stay that way.

I feel like the first patch will absolutely collapse the requirement lol.

Yup. Since we're going to get 277 threads a day about it anyway, I at least want a reason!

Forgive my ignorance. What's the huge deal around this game? It looks like another post apocalyptic survival game, with possibly some GTA mixed in from the trailers. Is there some big game from the past I'm missing here?

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Spoiler

Ah yes, the makers of Imperialism in 1997

/s

Didn't realize it was the same people that made Witcher. That's pretty cool! Some of the small things from the Witcher could be fun in a game like that. I also see why the specs are surprising now.

Really interested if their definition is "recommended" is 720p30 low settings OR they actually spent a lot of manpower optimizing this game to the point that a Ryzen 3 and a midrange GPU from 4 years ago can reach 1080p60 in medium-low.

Main Rig :

Ryzen 7 2700X | Powercolor Red Devil RX 580 8 GB | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 | 16 GB TeamGroup Elite 2400MHz | Samsung 750 EVO 240 GB | HGST 7200 RPM 1 TB | Seasonic M12II EVO | CoolerMaster Q300L | Dell U2518D | Dell P2217H |

Laptop :

Thinkpad X230 | i5 3320M | 8 GB DDR3 | V-Gen 128 GB SSD |

Yes, I think even 400 series support dx12 but only feature level 11_0.

720p at 30fps...I feel sick just thinking about it.

I'd rather not play it if that was the only option.

For The Witcher 3, their previous game minimum was 1080 30 with low. Recommended was 1080 60 with a mix of med + high.

I mean, 1080 at 30 is the bare minimum for me on console (or pc).

On mobile, or tablet, fine...I'll accept it.

But, not as my main gaming option.
