Should i buy a RTX 2060 Super or wait for the RTX 3000 Series (RTX 3060)?

I wanna play games at 75fps at 1080p High, should i wait for the RTX 3000 or get the RTX 2060 SUPER? or RTX 2060?

Just a question i wanna ask. any advice or help would be helpful.

Is there a reason not to wait 1-2 days in till the announcement? Usually after that it'll be probably a month before the whole line up in announced and is in stock with non launch day prices.

How would I know the card hasn't been announced and I don't work at nvidia.

assuming that your cpu consumes less than 250W on its own, and also assuming that the RTX 3060 draws less than 300W, you should be able to run one no problem.

do note that the RTX 3060 wont likely be released until next year. seeing a 3060 released with the 3080 is unlikely, just like every other low end card released before it.

I recommend waiting, And if you are compelled to buy now get the RX 5700XT, less than a 2060S and nearly the same gaming performance of a 2070S.

If it uses the GA104 it might be released not that long after the 3070. But the name could be something different like 3060 Ti/Super, like it was done with Fermi and Kepler, or maybe it's going to just be 3060 like the 760 so they can refresh it easily.

To my mind they will leave some space for later ( upgraded "Super") releases or downgraded if ever Max-Q versions for laptops.

well we have no way of knowing what will happen or what will be released anyway since none of them are actually released. also i was referring to the 1st september announcement and afaik that is the only confirmed event as of right now.

I'm in the same boat my friend, I'm currently on a 1070 and I was looking to upgrade to due streaming more frequently and since I stream off the GPU it's been a bit of a tougher time as of late. I'm waiting for the new cards to be announced today, much excite. This is the first time I've been in the market around a launch time. Gives me some more time to save up some of that dough though!
