Can someone critique my build. I'm about to build a $600 ish pc

Feel free and critique And or replace every component, but the price changes are crazy fast so if you pick a part based on its price specifically play point it out

 

And I mainly play Minecraft and a few games on Xbox game pass with my ryzen 3500u laptop, and pre-built HP from 2010 with an upgraded quad-core.

 

I have no idea how much compute power I need, but I do know I would like play Ark survival evolved and switch emulator. So unless there's a crazy sale I wasn't gonna spend more than the United $97 570, but it looks like I'm going to have to go up at least a little if I want to buy new.

1600 14nm price changed since this morning but I saw it for $115, so I'll definitely be waiting for something applicable to this. 

 

You think this $73 motherboard with a wimpy a vrm heatsink is good enough for a mild overclock.

2x8 g skill ripjawas 3600 red $69.99, can someone explain cast latency and if the difference between 16 and 19 is the reason why this it is the cheapest 3600 kit. Or is it just because it's old.

Cheapest M.2  drive 240gb $35 from silicon power, I could spring for the Kingston a400 thats $39 but idk if itw worth it.

 

Placeholder card, I found a cheap looking 570 on Amazon for $97. I found a few good-looking cards, 1650 for 150, and 580 8gb 145, and 5500xt for 175. Other 570s are $135

 

And the $97 is $220 now, its been 2 hours.

IDK if I need that much performance though I was hoping to just buy the cheapest thing and build a new PC in two years.

If you're mostly just gaming, you should probably get a 3300X instead of a 1600. It's a similar price, two fewer cores, but much higher single-thread performance. That will probably lead to a better experience overall.

The 3300X very nearly matches or even beats the 1600 in multithreaded workloads and stomps it in singlethread. A much better investment.

That's too much for a 1600. Get a 3100 or 3300. Prices seem to be going crazy in your region, so check intels i3 10100 too, that would be an alternative if the other ryzen are over 100$ too (at 100+ you should get a 6 core)

Yes, Id go with something cheaper even. One of those Asrock B450M Pro4: Asrock B450M-HDV:  Hardware unboxed tested them against all other b450 and they have their the best in their price class.

Latency is just as important as frequency. 3600 CL19 = 3200 CL16 basically. If you get either one of those, you'll be able to run them with the specs swapped. It's the same.

As far as you can stretch your budget. Configure everything else and use all the money you have left for the gpu.
