AMD's Ryzen 5000 "Cezanne" APUs Got Leaked, Rumored To Feature Zen 3 Cores & RDNA2 Navi 23 GPU

Source: https://wccftech.com/amds-next-gen-cezanne-ryzen-5000-apus-detailed-rumored-to-feature-zen-3-cores-rdna2-navi-23-gpu/

This rumor came from a Dell document that posted in Anandtech Forum by user DisEnchantment but apparently the link/document has been removed from the thread.

Quote

AMD just released its Ryzen 4000 'Renoir' CPUs but details of its next-generation Ryzen 5000 APUs have already started leaking out. The latest details come from Dell whose documents listed AMD's next-gen processors for the mobility part which would be replacing Ryzen 4000 CPUs in 2021.

It is also tweeted by @_rogame. This is the archive of the tweet: http://archive.is/90r13 .

To be honest I am very new to processors update, but all I can say AMD is just killing it this year. Well, even since 3 years ago. Perhaps this is the beginning of the CPU market share table to turn?

Personally it feels way too early for 5000 series leaks to come out with such detail, but I guess we'll have to see.

It's not that early. We already have 4000 series APUs in the market, and it takes way longer than a year to map them out.

Can't say I find this overly interesting though. When I shop for a laptop I just need something that works for spreadsheets and such, graphics don't matter to me.

Oh, so it's a leak about a mobile chip? Meaning it's basically a mobile version of the 4000 desktop chip? It would fit considering 4000 desktop is around the corner.

Cool to see this so soon, but considering it's still very early, it could easily be fake as far as we know.

oh yeah, sorry, i was confused by a sentence from the news that said as if it will come to desktop and server first, but apparently i misunderstood:

... But while Zen 3 would initially be deployed in desktop and server platforms, the mobility market will have to wait till 2021 since Ryzen 4000 just launched this month. But like the Ryzen 4000 family, AMD will again try to disrupt the notebook segment with more performance & higher efficiency unlike anything before.

I personally build computers with heavier gaming capability, but a processor with a strong enough built-in graphical solution would be a great option for people that only play light games at high framerates, but don't want the added expense of a discrete graphics card.

My Current Setup:

AMD Ryzen 5900X

Kingston HyperX Fury 3200mhz 2x16GB

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

EVGA G3 750W

Corsair Carbide 300R

It doesn't need to be a good gpu... just *something* cannibalizing 550s or whatever (hard to tell exactly, but the Vega 7 in the 4800H seems to be between a 960m and a 1050 maxQ) shouldn't be a serious concern if the company actually wants to be seen as the "better option".

Esp if they price them high.

Like being serious here. I could not in good conscious buy a 499 12C no-gpu chip. I can easily justify a 600 dollar 12C chip with a functional for basic output chip.

Hell I would probably buy a 600 dollar 8C Zen2 chip if it had a iGPU.
