Your asking that question in the wrong place!

 

2700x will get about 90 - 180kPPD on F@H but wont be able to use much of that RAM.

 

Rosetta@home is also doing some COVID research on the BOINC side of things

So, I remembered I had a GTX960 sitting in my closet just waiting for a rainy day so to speak, so I tossed it in my system since I have plenty of power to spare on my PSU. Well now the 960 is getting work units but the GTX1080 isn't. Noticed two things in the logs. First seems to be likely the problem with my 1080, but should the other message about the 960 worry me?

@Macaw2000 pointed out that the g4dn.xlarge is significantly less expensive if anyone is going to play with this.  Looks like the T4 has half the CUDA cores of a V100, so even if you ran 16 of these to compare to a p3.16xlarge, it would only be $2.6208/hr.  The spot price on the g4dn.xlarge is dirt cheap.  He also shared this for scaling your deployment:  https://github.com/raykrueger/FoldingOnECS
