Update time!

Averaging more than 100M Point Per Hour during this update!

Looking at the stats, we could overtake Hardware.no's 4th place in 12ish hours or so if I'm reading it right?  As we're currently pushing 2 billion points / 24 hour

I've been pretty constant on all 3 CPU's and both GPU's so far

My workstation just finished a CPU job, and of course, is waiting for another... The PowerEdge is chuggin' full steam ahead though.

Mates, quick question:

I think I read it is possible to use 1 GPU for gaming when I have 2 GPU's in the same PC, do I remember that correctly?

Question from a n00b:

My rig was downloading what seemed to be a large job - took 2 hrs to get to 99% downloaded. Then instead of loading the job description, etc., it just went back to 0.00% and started downloading again. Is this a connection error, or something I can remedy on my end?

Thanks to all battle-hardened folding veterans in the community for sharing your expertise with us newcomers! :)

So... If I were to guess, you could probably go into "Configure", then "Slots" and then remove your primary GPU? Maybe the one you have connected to your display? Not totally sure though, but it's a starting point. :)

You can just pause the slot you have set on your primary GPU

No need to remove it I would think, just pause until I am done gaming.

I would assume that the GPU in the "top" PCI-E slot is considered the main GPU, as people usually put their GPU there, but I'll read up on that for my specific motherboard before actually trying it.

Ah, that works just fine then, as I have the 1070 not connected to anything as it's just for folding.

FFXIV will get some action tomorrow then while I can still fold :D

How about R9 M275X? it seems to be picking up jobs, but it was stuck at FAHCore, I try resetting the GPU value to 0, and it seems to be running, but it resets and returned back to ready. I already installed the latest driver from AMD.

Yes, seems that should work; see FP64 spec at https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-r9-m275x.c2658

As to the specific issue I wouldn't currently know I'm afraid. We're basically all of us DDoS-ing F@h and  it's hard to separate issues that are due to a local problem from those that are due to former. It is any case not to be expected that all will be smooth....

Remember to hit that pause button then fold button. The software makes an attempt after so long. BUT after each failed attempt the timer increases by a few minutes. Pausing seems to reset the timer to the first shortest rendition and make an attempt at the same time. [As I understand it]
