Okay guys, as the title suggests, this thread is all about ridiculous brand names. Basically any brands that you deem silly or just plain stupid. For me, whilst they may build quite good PSUs, I think Be Quiet, which may be a clever name for a PSU brand, is quite a ridiculous brand name to me. However, this is just my opinion, feel free to share your thoughts on some brand names that you deem ridiculous. POST AWAY!

On top of not making particularly awesome products, I think Power Color is a terrible name... Just all together.

I have a coolmax PSU. It stays pretty cool but the fan switch on the back is messed up.

On high, its really loud. On low or auto the fan doesn't actually spin. I noticed this after it shut off my PC due to overheating after a while of bf4. It works if I get it in between low and auto for some reason.. (Still dunno if its actually running at either low or auto.)

Pretty much all the coolers that have freeze, ice and words like that in the name and the box has pictures of ice and snow on it.

 

Other then liquid nitrogen there ain't anything remotely icey or snowy about that they do.

If we look at OS's for a bit, I think Lindows was a bad name for a Windows-like Linux OS.
