Hi, why leadex III is is in dangerous category? It's because of EMI?

It has critical flaws in protections, from what I remember.

what is your system specifications ? and where do you live ?

xeon 2440

r9 390

8gb ram

Im currently running on an old OCZ  ZS650W

I live in Latvia.

Even this Aerocool unit costs around 60 euro.

The Gigabyte unit that Lienus bought costs 90 Euro here. 60 is the max i can spend for the PSU.

@LukeSavenije would you consider adding the fan type in the tier list criterea ? since they are known to be the  first component to fail in a psu under normal operation

so you can buy from europe online easily  ? i would reccomend a quality 650 PSU something like the corsair TXM or bitfenix formula gold should be within your budget , have seen prices in europe at almost 70 euros

high voltage drop, down to 11.4v, but only the 650w showed this

Like i said before, 60 is already pushing my price range and the r9 390 recommends a 650W at the very least.

But thanks for trying!

R9 390 can run on a good 450W. They only recommend 650 so they don't get sued if you used something like a 5960X.

the r9 390 has one 8 pin and one 6 pin , the 650w is an exageration if it needed that much power it would atleast have 3 8 pin connectors

Well that's good to know! Thanks for the info.

Though any premium 550 is still out of the price budget.

the vengence is only 7 euros above your budget , save some money till you can afford it , because the aerocool unit you mentioned is throwing your money away needlessly

For the 750W range, which would be the better choice, either the Corsair HX750i, or RM750i?

get whatever is cheaper , both are basicly the same only difference is in efficiency and its about 2% more for the HXi which wont affect performance at all

And this would be enough for a 3950x & 2080Ti with a custom loop?

I wouldn't cheap out on the PSU when paired with 300W GPU, it's bad idea. Save for it just a little bit more.

Even good 550W PSU will be more than enough.
