iMac 2019 vs Fully-Loaded Macbook Pro

Our iMac review was pretty positive, but we got to thinking: If we’re going to want external graphics anyway, does a Macbook just make more sense?

Quick question, why does this bother you?

I was just curious, Jesus..

It's such a mundane thing to complain about, honestly.

There's a massive oversight in this episode, the machines on the table have the macbook on the left, but the charts have the macbook on the right, this causes me pain.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I would call an iMac a portable device, because I've already seen people working on train with their imac.

I just want to thank @LinusTech and @GabenJr and the rest of the LTT staff for great video as always. Especially on things that they don’t normally cover.

The thing is that Windows-Notebooks usually also aren't clocked much higher.

.

2 things:

Would the $3149 Macbook Pro with the Core i7-8850H and Vega Pro 20 have faired any better against the featured Macbook Pro or iMac Pro in terms of value?

Can you guys consider doing a long-term usage review or ~ in light of these solutions ~ a "ways to work around iOS limitations" video for the iPad Pro?

Nicely done comparison by the way! ;)

@GabenJr With the price comparisons the iMac only had 8GB selects whole the MBP gets 16 as default. Was the RAM for the episode 16GB for both or 32GB?
