In my bag:

  • ThinkPad T450S in a Pelican 1085cc case, with charger
  • Anywhere from 1 to 5 twisty-puzzles

  • Scratch notebook (those ones you can sometimes get for $0.01)
  • Spare 18650 cell (Keeppower 3400mAH protected)
  • iFixit Pro-Tech Toolkit (black version)
  • 5" Irwin Vise Grips
  • 6" Knipex Cobra
  • Snap-On standard 8-3/4" ratcheting screwdriver
  • 32GB USB flash drive
  • Various cables (mini-B, micro-B, 3.5mm)

Define the term 'bag'

What? You didn't specify what kind of bag.

I don't usually carry a bag with me. But when I do, it's because I don't have any other choices.

Only bag I carry is my backpack. In that I have:

My 2008 Macbook

2 Spiral notebooks

Various pens/pencils

Nintendo switch

Charger for it

Such a relief from highschool. I once weighed my high school backpack at 55 pounds.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Ok in no particular order

- USB 3 button mouse

- Micro USB cable

- Travel tooth brush and an almost empty dental paste tube

- If I remember (I should remember but I don't always do) my pills case (Yes I have an old man case because I take 3 shots and 7 pills every day):Image result for pill case week

- About 2 or 3 used insulin syringes and a little pre-packed alcohol pad (I don't really use it but I keep it around in case I get a bleeder which does happen on occassion)

- A mechanical pen and a regular pen that also has a tablet pointed and a little led lamp

- One of those thingies to insert and click out the SIM card from your cellphone

- A small note written on a napkin. Has a bit of emotional attachment but not enough for me to take it out of the bag or anything

- A big bag of dice (Standard D&D sets). Inside that bag there's a smaller bag that separates my D10s on their own bag (I use those on some games a lot more)
- A plastic folder that contains a bunch of sheets (Character sheets for RPG games) lose 3 punch paper and a red notebook.

- ID card for work with the little neck thingie to wear it

This is what's on there all the time: If I take it out for work stuff I usually pack in my work laptop, charger for the laptop and an ice pack with a dose (or doses) of Insulin I might need for the rest of the day. When not for work I also might not pack in the notebook and charger but might pack in TRPG books instead of the notebook and my small 8" tablet and it's charger. Also the phone's fast charger if I remember (But I don't always so I usually have the cord at least permanently. EDIT: In fact I am packing a cheapo charger there permanently and forgetting about it hold on.)

If I'm traveling for work long term I usually pack in an extension cord, a multi plug surge protector, sometimes ID and such if I don't want to carry on my person for whatever reason, prescription papers if I need to buy medicine whenever I am traveling, a bag with basic toiletries and a small roll of toilet paper.

I work from home, so I don't need a backpack or laptop bag... Don't even have a laptop any more.

But when I go out, I'll have my phone in my pocket and my tablet in my hand or jacket pocket... along with a 20000mah battery bank and a magnetic charging cable... not forgetting wallet, keys, any spare change and something to wipe my nose (I have allergies). And I never leave home without my beanie in case it gets chilly or rains... or if I'm just having a bad hair day.

When I have to work, since I'm a 911 Dispatcher and we work at the county, we can't have certain things on us.

 So work EDC:
Backpack:

  • a couple water bottles
  • maybe an energy drink
  • iPad 6th Gen
  • Apple Pencil
  • lunch
  • mints
  • contacts rewetting drops
  • battery bank
  • lightning cable
  • mechanical pencil
  • extra napkins for when I eat my lunch
  • ibuprofen

On person:

  • iPhone XS Max
  • wallet
    • This includes my work keycard and various other cards I need for work that prove I'm certified for certain things, such as to use a Breathalyzer, CPR, AED, first aid, EMD related stuff.
  • keys/lanyard
  • Fitbit Charge 2

When off work:

only carry things on my person:

  • iPhone XS Max
  • wallet
  • keys/lanyard
  • Fitbit Charge 2
  • pocket knife
  • Ruger LCP

Also, my backpack I use everyday is the AmazonBasics 17" laptop backpack. I used it in college, and I'm still using it now.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

In my pocket: phone and keys.

I keep my wallet in either my pocket or my bag, depends on what part of my city I'm in that day..
