I don't know who if any of you have read the newest letter to the chairman but I would highly suggest it. CR talks about the newest stretch goal being for the future of star citizen.

• Procedural Generation R&D Team – This stretch goal will allocate funding for Cloud Imperium to develop procedural generation technology for future iterations of Star Citizen. Advanced procedural generation will be necessary for creating entire planets worth of exploration and development content. A special strike team of procedural generation-oriented developers will be assembled to make this technology a reality.

 

He also talks about the newest ship the Javelin-class Destroyer.

Wow, that Destroyer looks amazing. I think the design even channels a bit of SDF-1, especially if you look at that shot from the rear. I'll most likely get me one of those for Organization uses.

I hope it's easy to send... Like a sort of explored map out to your organization. Kind of like how No Man's Sky is going to implement their exploration system. Would give explorers a much easier method of relaying info to everyone.

Any idea if it's a glitch? Default image or something we chose?

It's actually an issue that we don't currently have an icon, so we're using the default one.

While I'm here and talking about the org page, I'd like to announce that we're going to be running a competition as of this post until (I'll edit that in when I've decided )

 

We need to get the org page completely revamped, with awesome graphics! 

 

There's 4 things we need to update and they're as follows;

 

Banner : 1140x380

Background : 1266x768

Logo : 175x175

Icon : 24x24

 

We need them to be fancy and sleek; we want to attract people on our own merit, not only just by shout-outs, because of this, we need to step up our presentation of the org. Right now we pale in comparison to may orgs out there, most notably Imperium, L.A.M.P. and the Black Widow Company.

 

So if you want to contribute and help us look the best we possibly can; post with your creations in seperate spoilers with the title of the spoiler being the name of the image (background, Banner, Logo, Icon) and other members can give their input towards it, not only this, but to help further entice you all, the winner will get their icon, logo, banner and background put forward to represent the org out there!

 

Lets get this done guys! And lets get our org looking positively spiffing!

 

And if the awesome @Shrubpig wouldn't mind posting the shield again. that'd be much appreciated

Anyone else like the new ship that was revealed in the next great starship. Looks like a competitor for the aurora/300i

Yeah. Since it's not technically a fighter I'll go with my original plan of grabbing a Hornet and if that one's priced well I'll get that over the Aurora for a personal explorer... Unless...

 

Wonder if it can dock at all. Cause I know the RSI bridge is compatible with the top of the Constellation. Or at least I think I've heard that somewhere.

I just sent in my application! At this time I have an Origin 300i, and plan to buy a Freelancer (hopefully MAX). In Star Citizen I am known as lucky74dog, just like here. I cannot wait to fight, explore, and trade alongside UOLTT!

Holy pish posh I friking hate googlechrome on ipad, keeps refreshing the page and I lose what I wrote. ARGHH!

Ok, so basically what I wanted to say was, base on the 15 images linked here: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/engineering/13586-Mustang-Concept-Galler. I have no clue what the name for the weapons are but I will say it is a #barrel gun.

1. I got that there are 3( or 4 because the double gun turret under the nose are confusing me lol) weapons locations: left and right small upper wing, and under the nose/cockpit.

The nose weapon, it has a double cannon( each single barrel) on 360 degree mount. This seems like it rivals the Hornet's 360 degree turret as well but since the position is different (hornet turret is on top, mustang is on bottom), you have to be either under or above the target to fully utilize the turrets location and 360 mount. The weapons on the wings are triple barrels.

2. There is no special landing gear; there are landing gear pads that level the landing.

3. It is shorter than the aurora (mustang is 16.3 meters).

4. There are two thrusters. I have no clue what they may be. 2xTR2s?

5. There are two headlights lol. There are also two red lights between the nose cannons.

6. There is a EVA hatch. No clue?

7. There are navigational sensors.

8. There is a cargo dock lifter thing as well as a Cargo hull.
