I like a wide range of artists (mostly 70s/80s music but there's some recent stuff in there).

I like: a-ha, Avicii, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Eagles, ELO, Elton John, Europe, Gorillaz, Green Day, Gryffin, John Denver (country music is fine with me),  Joji, Swedish House Mafia, Toto, Yes and Queen.

It's mostly because I was raised around 70s and 80s music and I just sort of listen to whatever Spotify plays, which makes my music tastes a weird clusterf**k of stuff.

I'm not much of a fan of radio ga ga. It's alright but it's not my sort of thing.

I like Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen and Don't Stop Me Now though.

I've also met Brian May before, he's a pretty nice guy.

Single artist, LL Cool J. He's the only rapper (or artist in that genre) that managed to span relevancy for twenty years. Rock the Bells and Luv U Better are both excellent songs from him.

Duo or group, EPMD. No one ever gives 'em love, but they were some of the best lyricists of the 1980s and 1990s, hands down.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Not a lot of people are

Rap was the single best selling music genre in the US in 2017 and the trend seems to continue in 2018.

So, it's quite the opposite. A lot of people are liking, buying and listening to rap and hip-hop, and seemingly more are liking it by the day.

Should clarify: not a lot of people are into older-school rap.

I've never met a single soul outside of myself, my mom and my dad who knows who LL Cool J is.

You name it, I probably listen to it, my Spotify can go from Slipknot (who are my favourite artists of all time), to Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash, been listening to a lot of Post Malone recently too, I prefer having my varied taste in music though, I would only listen to rock and metal when I was younger and there would be times I just wouldn't want to listen to that and have nothing to listen to, now I have something for any mood and anytime, there's a reason I'm known as the human Jukebox by my mates xD

Bathory - for all he did for the music genres he invented

Venom - NWOBBM. The grandfathers of them all.

Overkill - or at least the old stuff with their original guitarist.

Motorhead - Because Lemmy is God

Wendy O. WIlliams - for all the things she did for her genres.

Inactive Messiah - Greek metal bands are so wonderfully unique

just a few off the top of my head
