I recently got a Quadro 5000 for my old 3, 1 Mac Pro running El Capitan. Since, its my secondary desktop I figured I would let it Fold sometimes. I haven't been able to figure out how to configure a GPU folding slot. I have drivers and Cuda Version 8 installed but those didn't really make a difference.

Distro block on ali express?
KingTdiGGiTTy replied to kucharczykt's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
They are well known, but not well regarded. Their products are usually safe, but not as high performing as more reputable brands. -

Is your monitor High Refresh Rate and is v-sync on. -
I shouldn't be borked if it was working before, so you could try reseating it and its cables. otherwise, it does look dead.

Insufficient PSU or Failing GPU?
KingTdiGGiTTy replied to TheLittlestLemon's topic in Troubleshooting
That is definitely an unstable GPU and/or VRAM If you're overclocking remove it. Otherwise the card is defective. -
Make sure your current BIOS supports your CPU.

Is it in the top slot? Is your bios up to date? -
Sounds like a driver issue.

Do you usually have to reset BIOS after changing the PSU?
KingTdiGGiTTy replied to Mark Kaine's topic in Power Supplies
I've never heard of replacing a powersupply requiring you reset your bios. -
Chosing power supply i7 10700k + RTX 3080 Strix OC
KingTdiGGiTTy replied to Goncalo159's topic in Power Supplies
These are all fantastic PSUs. Pick whichever one has the best price. Unless another has a feature you'd prefer. -
it may or may not be depending upon the voltage that it outputs at.

You could, in theory, scrap past with a 600w. But with that high end of hardware, and a future possibility for upgrades and/or overclocking. I would suggest going with 750w or more if you want best efficiency.
