@Slick Seeing as net neutrality is probably gonna be repealed and the LTT forums slowed down, I know many people will be moving to Vancouver to access the LTT forum faster. How much is housing?

Vancouver is pretty much the most expensive housing markets in all of Canada, and one of the most expensive in all of North America.

 

So... lol, good luck unless you make 6-figures or higher. Also, you do know that the forums aren't hosted in Vancouver, right? Unless things have changed, they're hosted in some US Data Centre.

Good luck. It's ridiculously expensive. You're better off in one of the tri-cities. Let's put it this way; we recently sold my grandmothers house, which was a complete tear down on a 33x120 foot lot. It sold for $2,900,000.

 

Though, if I'm perfectly honest, I do plan on moving back. You really can't beat Vancouver living.

But what @dalekphalm said, the forum isn't hosted in BC

and BC is the most expensive part of canada.

LTT also uses cloudflare so the forum technically isn't on just one server in one location.

It's unlikely that this forum's access will be slowed down, LTT isn't "big enough" nor does it make enough money, for big ISPs in the US to care.

If anything, even if it's slowed down, you'll just see more ads for TunnelBear, to get around the crap from said ISP and get back your fast internet access.(it will also be cheaper than moving)

Its a hell of a lot harder to move to Canada then people think. Think what it takes to get a green card in the US if your not from there. I'd say just moving to Canada takes about as much work.

Kinda sad tbh how even though there will be thousands of protesters and millions of emails and phones calls there is a really good chance we will lose the battle for net neutrality.

im in north atlanta(Sandy Springs, GA) where google fiber isn't coming for another 2 years. also, we all know google isn't going to slow down sites
