I love the whole Monkey Island series, but my favorite among the bunch is The Curse of Monkey Island. Mind-bending puzzles, top-notch voice acting, smooth, animated graphics, hysterical jokes, and singing pirates. What's not to love?

Pokemon.  Must be my most played series of games ever.  Pokemon Emerald or Crystal were probably my favourite.

For sentimental value: Pokemon, Age of Empires/Mythology (3 was probably the best in the series, take your stupid nostalgia glasses off) Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

 

For "fun" value: TES 4: Oblivion, Dota 2, Sleeping Dogs, Resident Evil 4, BF Bad Company 2 (w/ Vietnam especially)

call me a dag but I quite enjoyed the original counterstrike. Every lan party would be that for hours.

I think it was USD 2.50 or so and came with one-click dosbox installtion for windows and mac ;)
