the last time i actually went onto facebook (and not using messenger) was in 2015

 

 

i only use messenger because my class all has discord but doesn't want me on discord because we all mutually agree that we fucking hate each other and only have to deal with each other until the 29th

You don't think the government already does this? A couple years ago wiki leaks or someone leaked a code name for program used in sting operations that uses a smortphone and it take a picture every so often and uses it's GPS to make a map of the house so they know exactly what to do.

Kinda ironic. These days it's quite common place to find a piece of tape over the webcam on a laptop. But nobody is covering up their phone cameras..

Fair enough. Still I was working in a IT-repair shop up until recently and atleast 50% of the computers passing through had some type of cover over the webcam. But up until your picture I can't recall anyone ever covering their camera. So I think my point is valid with the correction "almost nobody" ;) 

I wish I could disconnect my webcam. I dont even think its possible to do it on my Macbook.. Guess thats what you get for buying Apple..

And then the app wont work until you allow it... :D I seen many cases where apps asked for unneeded permissions but refused to work without them. Nope I dont use facebook period, only ever used it a few times because the ex roped me into using it, and i soon after dropped it all together, i despise that kind of social media.

 

Also, this concept shouldnt be new to anyone who's familiar with the tech world, and I think I may despise that fact more than anything else. Samsung does this, apple does this, google does this, that facebook (who so many people run on their smartphones) is only just now getting in bed with the devil, I find interesting.
