edit: turn out i can't read properly and they released a new Titan Xp
3840 cuda core instead of 3584
Higher bandwidth memory, 547.7 GB/s instead of 480
and a higher default boost clock

This is a total different card which is faster than 1080 Ti.

We can't call that a new card, it is an identical Titan X(P) which is now marginally faster than the 1080ti solely because nVidia felt they fucked up making the Titan X and 1080ti virtually the same where the 1080ti could surpass it if silicon allowed overclocking it to... This was an worse rebrand than the r9 290 - r9 390...

 

My only hobby is owning Titan cards, but damn this move makes me want to buy a Vega.

ah, this is the fully unlocked Pascal GP 102, up until now only the Quadro P100 had the fully unlocked core count, this is why the GTX 1080ti was so powerful, the older Titan XP should have a BIOS update to make it a Titan Xp if Nvidia really cared for their customers of the Titan
