My Roommate is annoying so I need help

Hello all,

Here's the basics. My roommate in college has concerns about my very loud gaming keyboard. I am prepared to buy a new, quieter, one if needed but I don't wanna spend more than 150$. 

 

Basically, what's the quietest and best gaming keyboard under 150$? Or, how can I modify my Corsair k65 to be quieter?

Buy O-rings and fit them on your keycaps

Currently using the logitech G810 RGB and it's pretty quiet, although the romer-g switches might not be your thing, so try to test one out at Best Buy or something before you buy it.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

I thought my mx silents were pretty quiet, besides the spacebar which is loud af.

I totally agree with you that is how my keyboard is and its the Corsair Strafe RGB with Cherry MX Silent switches.

Worst part is that you cant even put orings on those support switches. So your just suck with loud keys.

Solution is easy

  1. Become an audiophile
  2. Get an amp and speakers.
  3. Turn your volume up to 11.

Problem solved, he can't even hear the keyboard now!

 

The way to avoid these problems to begin with: You should have had guns, knives, mohawk, tatoos and piercings from the get go. Yeah... keyboard noise should be the LEAST of his concerns.

O-rings on reds or browns. Nothing with audible feedback like a blue or any razer keyboard with the horrible greens

If it has Cherry MX Reds already then I don't see how you're complaining. Just buy some o-rings, they'll be practically silent after that.
