batman arkham knight, but i play borderlands 2 still & i can't turn off physX i love it on that game.

True, gpu accelerated physX is only used in a handful of games, and a lot of those are years old. The vast majority of physX implementations are cpu only.

You sound like my friend. But seriously, why not? Their cards are often a better deal, and some technologies like CrossFire and FreeSync are superior to what NVidia have.

i just like nvidia cards better. i had a lot better experince with nvidia then amd

200$ is a really impressive price for a ~ 390x performance, but again the 390x going by the the benchmark so far seem to be around 30-40% less compare to 1070, for an about 50% less in price, which is a scarifies I'm willing to make for Shadow Play and Experience  though as long as 1060 is not out yet the new 480 if it is true with that performance and price will be come my recommended GPU for lower budget.

CrossFire is pretty much AMD's equivalent of SLI so you cant really say it like it's AMD only thing (even though technically it is, just like how SLI is Nvidia only), and as good as freesync goes, same with Gsync it require special monitor that support it isnt it? Even if those monitor is cheaper than the Gsync one but it still a new monitor so... there's that for a lot of people too. 

And personally, I cant stop using Nvidia card because Shadow Play is there. Though if the performance of AMD card is really equivalent or better than Nvidia one then I will give it a try. Until then...

Freesync doesn't really require a special monitor, as long as it has displayport. It just needs to be certified.

Isnt that certified part mean a special monitor then? 

But it could be just me but ... well... my monitor is just big and nice, but is quite old so... I dont have preference for both FreeSync and GSync

I think certified just means it works well with it/amd supports it. I don't think much, if any proprietary hardware is needed because it's all done through dp (and hdmi now iirc)
