I highly doubt the monitor is at fault. I'm trying to find a picture of that benchmark now, could someone find it?

Said it wasn't likely. I would, but trying to work on an English project.

Agreed, something looks different.

It could be the monitor angle or something, but hard to tell.

Weirdly enough, to me, it just looks like the one on the left is just more zoomed out...

This is every single different scene in their "benchmark", I think the different in terrain detail is quite clear, and in some case the number of unit it also really different too. I'm not too familiar with the AoS Benchmark so anyone can tell for certain can you set those setting up in the benchmark? (like number of unit etc?)

The presenter also said clearly that the right one is the 700$ card, so we know without a doubt which side is which now

This may be a stupid question but I don't know enough about AMD's naming scheme -- is the RX 480 the R9 480, the R9 480X, or a different card altogether?

The name for this card is RX 480. They want to confuse all of us LOL. I guess R10 isnt as catchy of a name as RX. There will probably be a RX 480X later

They never said what side is what GPU. And it's a live feed so it could of been set up wrong but the benchmark is still right. So so far those pics mean nothing, but speculation.

Then at 38:10 Raja talks about utilization on those cards. He says it's got more headroom (so basically, hasn't been fully optimized yet).

They wont. They still have the console market and they just sign a deal worth 1.5 billions USD recently if my memory serve it purpose.

They just posted a video check it out 199 is confirmed cant wait for some review this changes a lot for my upgrade plans since my goal was 1440p gaming and since a r9390 can handle 1440p and this is supposed to be that powerful. I can get my ultrawide without a major upgrade to my rig and wait for something new in the cpu space in the upcoming 2 years.

But they pretty much bid so low on console that they pretty much gave them away, as far as I know.
