Guest

The PC GTA 5 reuirements have been revealed, and they are as follows;

MINIMUM:

CPU: Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz or Phenom II X2 545

GPU: GeForce GT 530

RAM: 4GB

OS: Windows 7,8,8.1 64bit

HDD Space: 20GB

RECOMMENDED:

Looks like this may be a pretty well-optimized port! Obviously with the delay and all they didn't want a repeat of GTA IV...

Hopefully this just means more graphical options for us. These kinds of games really need a lot of options.

That's bad imho. If it can be run on low-end hardware easily then it's probably going to be a crappy port :/ I'm really hoping for the best PC port ever for GTA5.

or its just well optimized. it can go to ways,

run on low end hardware because its its optimized, or run on a low end system because its complete crap graphicly.

granted gta 4 was crap graphically, and couldn't run well on low end hardware.

Nah. I'd be more worried if the minimum requirement was a GTX 780 and an Ivy Bridge i7. That would mean that it took beast hardware just to run, not necessarily to look good. This... actually looks sensible. If this is legit Rockstar may have broken the habit of a lifetime and release a non-shit port.

Please don't be another let down, I am still having trouble getting over the flop that was TES online. Although that looked absolutely amazing (at least for what it was).

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Obviously I'd like to see R* say something, but these aren't that bad. I'm expecting this to be a good port, and hopefully they aren't so uptight with modding so we can have an even better experience. I'd rather see recommended specs like this than Unity asking for a i7 and 780 then running like crap on higher and lower than that.

Linus did it!

I hope it's well optimised for the Pentium G3258, although I can run GTA IV acceptably with it (40-50fps)

Wow! If these are true, then that's impressive and I'm really looking forward to the 60fps awesomeness! :)
