Got myself a new keyboard on Prime day (Masterkeys Pro S). Snuck around a tenkeyless board with MX Brown switches for quite a while now. So far, I am rather pleased. Tactile typing experience is not quite up to the high standard of MX Blues, but the clicking really got on my nerves, so this is a definitive plus. RGB is just because I can since the Rapid-i model with plain white LED's was just a few bucks less.

A reference clocked titan yes. An overclocked titan / 980 Ti no.

The 1080 is only around 3% faster than an OCED 980 Ti, so a 1070 is going to be slower. Reviews lie when they fail to include overclocked results of older cards then claim that new cards are faster or on par.

And the 1070 / 1080 gain minimal improvements from overclocking compared to previous generations, so that doesn't work so well either. All this has been extensively covered / discussed in the graphics cards setion on this forum.

'As you can see 1080 reach 10102 graphic score against my 980-Ti at 10108, so it's pretty equivalent'

Also GTX 1080 = £700-800 per card. GTX 1070 = £400+ per card. Decent custom cooled and farory OCed 980 Tis = £350 per card (in the UK

Big sales on Creative's website just when I needed new headphones. My third set of Asus Strix headset are making super load creaking pops with the slightest head movement, will be nice to have premium headphones instead.

If you go to college, you can take 3D Animation courses (assuming they're available). That's how I started.

If you can't do that (and if you have any money for long-term use), you can try out Lynda.com as they have the 3D Animation courses as well ;)

If you can't afford Lynda.com or college, you can look online for tutorials on 3D Animation. I recommend checking out a guy named James Taylor. That's where I got some stuff from in 3ds Max and Maya and helped me out in both Maya and 3ds Max, and learned some new tips and tricks (like connecting two separate objects to make one object).

What are you going to use the 710 for?  Was the 710 made before Nvidia started using GTX for their GPUs?  I think I've seen 710s listed on Amazon but they say GT 710.

It's an extremely low end card, basically just for running more monitors with no real rendering power whatsoever.  Not deserving of the "GTX" label :P

You mean use it not for SLI but simply to handle more monitors?

Would the monitors connected to the 710 be limited to the graphics performance of the 710 I assume?  So he wouldn't be able do include them when playing a game using his primary GPU?

I don't believe there's any way to pass that display information between different cards, no.
