A couple of packages came today......

What were inside the packages.....a pair of MrSpeakers Alpha pads, a set of headphone stands with screw  on clamps.

The table top clamp on stand can accommodate up to two headphones...

I screwed on the three other stands (which were different from the table top one) to my hat rack/stand cum headphone rack/stand, now my headphone stand can take up to at least twelve headphones....

I'd replaced the old Alpha pads on my Alpha Dog with new ones, and replaced the stock pads on the Fostex T50RP with the old Alpha pads and man, what a difference it made! Been listening to my revived T50RP since an hour ago and still enjoying it. If someone had told me pads made such a difference w/o experiencing it myself, I'd have dismiss it as placebo...

I bought the CX750M for my rig, since my EVGA 650G1 PSU has a loud air woosh. This one has a fan tick and it sounds a little dry, but it is a lot quieter. So this will go in my main rig tonight, and my EVGA PSU will be going into Ares. So stay tuned for that.

 

As for the phone, it's a Samsung Galaxy Avant. My mom got it since I needed an upgrade desperately from my flip phone. Not a bad phone, but the camera and flash fall a little behind, the screen is plastic instead of glass, the screen isn't very high-res (not even 720p, but it doesn't look that bad TBH), the button switch is weird (don't hold down the home button for window switcher), and the speaker is kinda quiet. But it's snappy and pretty nice. Too bad it has 4.4.2.

Got a nice overcoat from my brother at a very, very good price! Only snag is, when the heck am I gonna get to use it? <_<  Hoping to go to a cold country, say, end-of-year'ish so I can get to try it out.....this is my very few non-tech purchase so far this year. I seldom buy clothes.....but, this one was too tempting. This isn't a knock-off, I was with him when he'd gotten it.....
