Sorry but that’s another hobby of mine; I love driving. I got my drivers license exactly on my 18th birthday because I didn’t bother with the ridiculous $500+ (USD) driving classes for a permit at age 16. On my bucket list is to rent a sports car and to test it out on the Autobahn.

 

Should add I drove one time from San Francisco to San Diego with no sweat. But I was an idiot and it was nighttime by the time I got to the 101 highway so I couldn’t enjoy the ocean views.

Yea I can see how driving is fun 

I'm still thinking if I want to drive (legally can't here cuz not old enough ) because honestly driving seems kind of a pain with all the traffic and the stress idk is it fun ?

I just spent way to much getting 1 side of my car repainted after a hit and run but given it looks now basically brand new whatever

I also just bought 3 vintage Helios 44 lenses. 1 will be a gift to my GF for 18 months or whenever I see her

I got my last video gig finished a while back and finally paid

Haven't gone in a few years but will some this summer and into the fall if I'm trapped at home for school maybe by myself for once.

Fun part is owning your own car and driving wherever you want on your spare time. And this is coming from an introvert who hardly goes anywhere except work. I might go to the beach on my day off and park at one of my store’s parking lots near it by putting my badge on my dashboard. So I don’t get my car towed.

 

Last night I was at a red light and saw a Honda Civic and Dodge Challenger battling it out when a highway patrol car’s left turn light turned green on their same road. Almost had a bodily accident myself laughing my arse off.

I draw, though not as much as I used to.

 

Recently I've been designing single player/co-op card games, that have no intention of doing anything with, it's fun to just theory craft different rules and play styles. Technically some of them can be done with mtg, pokemon, yugioh cards as stand ins.

Theres a bunch of hobbies i'd like to take up ..or retake up.. but hobbies cost money , and money is in short supply unless ur well of.

 

Also i dont think enthusiast = hobbyist all the time.

 

Im a Display enthusiast, but that doesnt mean i go around buying up Displays all the time to tinker with ..that would be incredibly expensive

 

I'd like to start doing a bunch of hobbies, mainly craft types ..if i had the money.

 

Project car / car mechanics.

Metal work

3D printing

Subzero cooling solutions for PCs

Astronomy (i have access to a Telescope, but its not mine)

 

Unfortunately any 'hobby' i'd like to do simply costs to much, so i cant do them. I dont have a 'hobby' atm. I spend most my free time either playing the odd game, browsing youtube, or helping out on forums such as this.

 

Hobbys are a luxury that not everyone has access to.

I remember playing with Tinkertoys as a kid but I have no idea where they went. I just ordered a LEGO-like set from a Polish brand called COBI. Looks pretty identical but has military vehicles in them. I bought a T-72M1 to put together so it should arrive in the next couple of days. Their prices are reasonable when compared to custom LEGO site called Brickmania (Their prices are like Apple).
