<- is folding with 3 high-ish end GPU's but cant break above 2.6m ppd average

Alright, I'm away for the weekend so my production will be cut in half to reduce the risk of burning the house down in my absence.

If any mythical trees want to take #1, now is your chance.

Only a 20M(ish) point gap.

Anyone else seeing issues uploading WU's to 128.252.203.10 today? I have one WU that instantly fails to upload to that server, then as it flips over to a different server to upload it always receives the HTTP_REQUEST_ENTITY_TOO_LARGE error.

Winding down production for a couple of days. Got a few days 35-40°C temperature days. Air conditioning can barely cope as it is without blasting a couple of graphics cards as well :(
Hopefully a storm and some cooler with in a day or two.

I seem to have gotten a whole heap of these errors in the last 4 days

It doesnt but the longer your completed WU sits, the less value it has. I watched one of mine drop from 198k to under 50k over a period of days

not sure what PPD you would get on the 3700x though

It is true that the Navi based GPUs aren't supported, but it isn't a driver issue like they said to point the blame elsewhere.  The issue stems from the OpenMM library they use, as mentioned on the last couple pages of this thread.

If we keep up the current page pace, we'll be around 140'ish before the competition even starts.  But, we've been picking up speed as we go, so let's expo this thing to the moon!

Thought I'd given a guess too, but just found this analyzing the current pace back then.  We did eventually slow down, at least until the event and the busted servers.

Is it possible to share what kind of setup are you using at the top of the board?

Is it like a hundred of computers or a few massive ones?

Also I was wondering what kind of score I could expect with a 3700X and a 5700XT?

Have a nice day and thanks again for the daily reports and sorry for posting in the wrong thread...

According to folding forum posts issues with Navi GPUs lies with fah core 21, issues are probably fixed when core 22 is released. Currently it looks like they aren't going to patch core 21. So for now Navi owners have to wait for core 22 to be released.

If there still sitting in your advanced control showing “Uploading” then they have stopped attempting to upload to the Collection Server (CS) and are diminishing in value.

They are supposed to, when not able to report back to the CS to report to the Work Server (WS) that issued them which will, in turn report them but there is a bug where this has been failing occasionally and WUs get stuck Uploading.

With some CPU jobs if you’ve set your system to anything other than “Full” (I.e. “Medium” or “Idle”) OR you have paused your jobs many times extra data will get appended to the results file causing them to ballon in size to the point they have difficulty getting uploaded to a WS especially if it is one of the ones already congested.

If it is not the “Idle” bug then stopping and restarting the FAHClient may cause them to Upload but if it is the Upload Idle bug then they may continue to fail until the job expires.

no it keeps on folding, I just saw it today in the log. Had one bad WU come back last 5 days, so that’s not too bad. Thankfully no download bug (not that I’m aware of it at least)

Then it is likely the Upload retried to the WS and was successful or retried to the CS and was successful. If the later the point assignment may be slightly delayed as I believe that the WS has to check the result to ensure it is valid.

So GeForce pushed a driver update that I think is related to Modern Warfare coming out.  It is either that or a weird WU but my PPD off the RTX 2070 Super went from 1.3M to 800k... Any ideas?

It's generally recommended to not update drivers for systems that are for folding only. If it's your gaming PC and it's truly a driver issue then I guess you gotta decide which is more important.
