They are the open Ear version of the clouds

For edm and PPP I think the v moda m100 is an easy winner for closed back headphones.
For open the x2 is Also very good

ym1453 got a reaction from Geordiee in Best Gaming headset >$250 AUD
The fact you make music with the m50x don't change the lack of soundstage of the m50x which make them terrible for gaming.
Also putting an mkbhd review of the m50x and saying "k thanks bye" is what makes me wanna shoot myself more than you recommending the m50x.

V moda m80 are very nice and will probably fit your needs.

ym1453 got a reaction from Fluffinator in I need a new headset soon
You am should look into a good pair of headphones with a mic dt770/990 with a clip on mic will be a great combo.
If you want a better mic than maybe a pair of audio technica ath ad700x with a mod mic will be a good open back option.
For closed a pair of Shure srh440 with a set of 840 ear pads will work great with s mod mic.

ym1453 got a reaction from aDham_z in Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 ohms vs Sennheiser HD8 DJ and plesae read the topic first :)
The hd8dj is all right in comfort but doesn't sound really good the mid range got a very wired sound to it as if you listened through a towel.
The dt770 is super comfy one of the best out there.

ym1453 got a reaction from xtroria in suggest me a good gaming / music headset (200$)
Beyerdynamic dt770 for closed back dt990 for open+ mod/moov mic.

ym1453 got a reaction from tengarp in looking for 7.1 gamming headset
7.1 surround sound in headphones is just a gimmick your much better off buying a good pair of headphones with a mod/moov mic for under 200$ I recommend you to pic up either a pair of beyerdynamic dt770/990( 770 if you can't use open 990 if you can)
-
ym1453 got a reaction from Fluffinator in Looking for headset-200$ budget
You can go for a pair of beyerdynamic dt990+ mod mic that will be a killer setup.
For something cheaper the ad700x+ mod mic gets my vote as well.
For headset only the hyper x cloud version 1 the 2 is just overpriced

ym1453 got a reaction from Fluffinator in Headphones around $200 (USD)
Beyerdynamic dt990 is very good if you can get them used a pair of hd600 are very good as well.

+1 that honestly I think for your budget a dt990 will probobly stil be better than the 598.

ym1453 got a reaction from Kobrastachka in Audio buying help
You won't need the amp so save that money personally I haven't tried the senns but heared great things about them I would recommend the audio technica ath ad500x.
Only thing is I think the mic is a little overkill but if your gonna stream or anything I guess that's a good option you can also go for a moov mic for 20$.

ym1453 got a reaction from Fluffinator in Best Gaming headset >$250 AUD
They aren't the worse the lower end g series is probobly the worse but unless you cannot live without wireless they are not worth a buy you can get so many better headphones/headsets that will be better in every way.

ym1453 got a reaction from ADFX_Pixy in So I won Beats in a raffle...
I have a pair of mixers they're pretty good sounding but very uncomfortable so yes I'd say you should sell them.
The m40x are good( and by far worth buying over the m50x) but for the money you'll sell the mixers you can probobly pick up a pair of dt770s or( if you get more money) either a sennheiser empirior/ dt1350s the senns are more neutral while the 1350s are warmer both are amazing though.

ym1453 got a reaction from SSL in Logitech ue6000 vs. Audio Technica ATH M50x
Legendary studio monitors is a big description from someone who don't have them...
The m50x aren't a very comfortable headphone, they got good short term comfort but they're cups are fairly shallow and sweat like a b**** outside.
I haven't tried the ue6000 but I can tell you the m50x are just not a very good value where the m40x are just 100$ and are just slightly less bassy.

ym1453 got a reaction from minibois in dt 770 vs astro a40 vs astro a50 vs m50x. boooooooooom
Dt770 in every way aside from portability where the m50x slightly beats it but considering you included the a50 in the list I guess that doesn't matter to you that much.
