GoodEnough got a reaction from Klutch181 in Time to upgrade!
as far as cold war goes, as long as you have a gpu that is at least as good as an rx 580 you should be "ok" but you might run into some problems in zombies in that range, die maschine is around 30% more demanding than multiplayer, while fire base z is more close to 5-10% compared to multiplayer
coldwar is kinda all over the place when it comes to how well the game runs

GoodEnough got a reaction from BigSmoke908 in Anyone having an idea for finishing this?
used ones used to be priced great at around 130-150 us dollars or 110-125 euros, but the prices have doubled since then lol
personally i would take one good hdd over a moderately sized shdd, like say a nice wd black drive

GoodEnough got a reaction from tomas10024 in Samsung 970 EVO 500GB vs Crucial P5 500GB? Do I really need a heatsink?
if the m.2 is directly under a beefy gpu can get a little too toasty, thats when you would really need an m.2, that and maybe a case with poor airflow

GoodEnough got a reaction from TheTechBoyMC in [UK] Prebuilt PC
the servers running that website seem to be.. struggling a tad bit.. lol

GoodEnough got a reaction from Kanna in American megatrends screen?
i mean, you could get a american megatrends bios (lol)?
either that or maybe modify a bios off of the gigagye website, like just replace the logo using winrar or something..
i think asus has a tool that you can use to replace the splash screen, but idk about gigabyte, roam through the bios and the gigabyte tools and apps and hope for the best?

yeah it can come up if there is something wrong with the hard drive or something, but its not something that happens often if ever

GoodEnough got a reaction from MarvintheParrot in RTX 3000 under preforming?
minecraft java is not very optimized to say the least, if your render distance is above 24 chunks you might start to run into some issues

GoodEnough got a reaction from Applefreak in Have I missed anything out AMDGPU vs Kernel 5.8 Issues? Pop 20.10
gcn 4.0 gpu's were generally the go to (mostly the rx 580), but it wouldnt surprise me if it shifted towards a rdna 2 gpu, you know something like a rx 6500xt.. when next gen gpu's are no longer seen as mythical artefacts..

GoodEnough got a reaction from generalsam in No POST/ unable to boot with 6900xt after successful install
sometimes gpu's are just like that, could be anything from the gpu doesnt like pcie 4.0 for whatever reason or it just doesnt like your wifi card

GoodEnough got a reaction from redcan0 in Is the 10600K too overkill for a 1080 Ti
it really depends at what fps you play at

GoodEnough got a reaction from General_Led in My experience with changing GPU thermal paste
msi is known to use crappy thermal paste

GoodEnough got a reaction from Omar.B in Time to replace PSU?
from my experience psu's have a lot longer lifespan than cpu's and gpu's

how do you live without lttstore.com?

GoodEnough got a reaction from Mark Kaine in RTX 3060 Ti or RTX 3070?
its not that bad considering the vram itself should be faster

GoodEnough got a reaction from blackviking03 in Which keyboard is best for me?
ive always had good luck with razer headsets, without a doubt they make the most comfortable headsets for $100

GoodEnough got a reaction from Eigenvektor in Logging on to friend's computer who is banned in a mc server
well, an ip ban is an ip ban
-
GoodEnough got a reaction from Eigenvektor in Logging on to friend's computer who is banned in a mc server
its not like his pc is banned, just the ip he uses to connect to said mc server
-
GoodEnough got a reaction from kelvinhall05 in Is this normal?
its not for say normal, but its probably okay.
no different than coil whine from a psu or gpu, although the motherboard's whine is a lot more high pitched than one would expect.
but its definitely something that other people have encountered before

GoodEnough got a reaction from bejamartins in MSI 3090 Gaming Trio keeps crashing
tbh the 3090 could still be tripping your psu whenever it wants a quick 400w+ for only a quick second
i mean that card would probably make my tier e $50 750w go boom, i mean, its not even 80+ rated lmao

GoodEnough got a reaction from Tym2000 in Overclocking ryzen 5 3600x
the best you can really expect is +100mhz past the max boost (at least on a regular 2600 and 3600)
-
GoodEnough got a reaction from Tym2000 in Overclocking ryzen 5 3600x
essentially a 3600x is a fine tuned and/or binned 3600, and pbo is generally really, i mean really good for getting high frequencies at freakishly low voltages when compared to manual overclocking.
but that isnt to say you cant do it.
how about this just go straight for an all core overclock at 4.4ghz at say 1.425v, if it doesnt crash in benchmarking slowly lower the voltage, if it does crash lower the frequency
also keep a close eye on temps, 1.4v and above can be pretty toasty, try not to let cpu temp go too far past 90c (95c should be your absolute max temp during benchmarking)
also most people are going to recommend doing this the other way around (slowly raising the core clock from say 4.2ghz and work from there, but im weird)

GoodEnough got a reaction from blackviking03 in Is the ASUS Dual Radeon RX 5500 XT EVO 4GB GDDR6 Good?
i heard that gigabyte has also made a good cooling solution for the 5700 xt
an rx 580 can handle warzone at max graphics, so a 5500 xt should be alright
do keep in mind it is a budget card so it should have less power draw than more higher end cards, so it should produce a lot less heat
again the higher end the card the more likely it has more of a power draw and so the more heat it will produce, so it shouldnt be all that loud

GoodEnough got a reaction from MaT3j in Best CPU for GTX 1660 super
cpu prices are pretty crap right now tbh, an r5 2600 used to cost $120-125 (depended whether you got it at amazon or newegg)
-
GoodEnough got a reaction from MaT3j in Best CPU for GTX 1660 super
i would have to disagree, just a regular r5 2600 would be enough for a 1660s in games
