  1. Recently bought a used MSI GTX 1070 ti (still had the void sticker). Under full load GPU was running around 72-73 degrees. Replaced with Arctic MX-4. Now runs 62-63 degrees under full load. 2. Hello, When I try to update/install the driver for my GPU, Geforce Experience tells me that there is an update available even though when i go into control panel it tells me the latest driver is running (460.89). MSI afterburner does not recognize the card and neither does userbenchmark. It does show in cpu-z as a (NVIDIA GeForce GTX970). I have tried installing manually, installing the version gigabyte provides, installing 2 different previous versions manually from nvidia. The system is a new install with only a few programs(GChrome, steam, CPU-Z, MSI afterburner, geforce experience, et
  3. Budget (including currency): ~$600 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Primarily a livingroom gaming setup connected to a 4k tv. Other details: Please excuse my lack of knowledge of current hardware, been out of the game a couple years. My current rig is quite old: 6-core FX CPU, some crappy gigabyte board, Cooler master 212 Cooler, GTX 770, 8gb ddr3, corsair 500 watt PSU, a mismatch of hard drives and a 128gb ssd. I plan to upgrade in steps. The GPU is good enough to last another few months or atleast until 3000 series GPUs aren
  4. To keep a long story short I need a new/better wireless network card for my dell inspiron i5577 that supports hosted network. Trying to spend as little as possible.

  6. Guide link can't be located. Also couple questions that someone might be able to answer. 1.At 720p 10fps, how much drive space would be consumed every 30 days? 2.Is there anyway to hook a microphone up to individual cameras for some kind of audio playback.
  7. So being in college for the past few years has kept me out of the tech game and I have no clue what the audio market is like anymore. So I need some suggestions for new headphones. Looking for over the ear closed monitors ~$200 or lower. I'm constantly on the go, traveling, and surrounded by people so my AKG open ears just aren't an option. I love good audio and listen to all genres of music so a good and relatively flat response is a must. While style and wireless and all that other gimmicky $h!t is nice, it certainly isn't a selling point for me. However, a detachable cable is as
  8. Did that. That's why I was thinking it was the ram. It seems like its always about 40% usage but temps stay relatively low. No other intensive apps are being used. Just spotify and word.
  9. I just wrote i7 instead because it was much quicker than typing out 17-7700hq quad core 7th generation.
  10. So I just bought a Dell inspiron with an i7, 128gb ssd and 1tb combo, with 8gb of ram. I've been having an issue where my computer seems to stutter or freeze for a few seconds then continue. This seems like an issue that only happens when I have chrome open but it affects my entire computer. I could switch from chrome but I'd prefer not to. So my question is why is my brand new laptop doing this in chrome? My 7 year old macbook doesn't even do this. My guess is chrome is using ram faster than the cpu and ram can communicate. Would this be the case and if so would more/upgraded ram
  11. So I will be traveling to Amsterdam and Romania over the course of about 2 week here in a couple months. And it just dawned on me that I don't want to be charged outrageous roaming fees from AT&T. My current phone is a GS8+. Basically my question is whats the best sim to get if I want lots of data. Im a relatively heavy user and due to some other reasons I need to be able to access the internet quite frequently. I will still need to make phone calls and texts however no where near the extent of my data usage.
  12. Mixture of both would be nice. Not looking for ultra light but also not alienware massive.
