    Unplug all drives except the OS one before starting the installation.
    When you get to this screen, delete everything until you are left with "unallocated space":

    Then select the unallocated space and click next and it should start installing.

    Well yeah because the internal resistance and the cable's resistance and than the phone's resistance are all factors that I'm not taking into account.
    You are right!
    So expanding on my 2nd calculation:

    iPhone battery voltage ->
    Wh = mAh × V / 1000
    6.9 = 1715 × V / 1000
    4.02 = V
    V = ~4

    external battery V ÷ iPhone V
    18 ÷ 4 = 4.5

    1.8 × 4.5 = 8.1

    So now it all makes sense!

    Oh if it's for support reasons, just be extra clear. Like "I said version 1.342 when I meant to write 1.347" and if you think that won't clear it up just maybe rewrite all the version like "making the affected versions 1.245, 1.347, and 1.564" or whatever works best for your case. I feel like contacting them via email probably would make getting your point across easier but that's just me, I pretty much always email for support if it's an option.

    The problem is back and I found the source. An exe bitcoin mining software called "sgminer.exe".
    I havent installed anything recently so it must have been around for a while on my computer.
    It is a very sophisticated software as if the GPU gets under load by the user whith eg. a game it gives over the processing power so the user wouldn't notice a thing.

    However since it has a very close relation whith the GPU my clean intalll of the GeForce experience the code and files were corrupted so the software got a memory leak, it started using a lot of CPU power for that and it got recognised immediatelly. It was shining brite like a diamond with lots of Windows warning messeges, 100% of ram, cpu and gpu usage, it overvhelmed my PC in 3.5 hours and the visual output was compromised.

    After looking in the soure of this I found that there is a CPUminer and a GPU miner softwere separatelly but since the CPU miner is not corrupted yet it doesn't show up anywhere.
    The uninstall button seems to work, everything is fine sice.

    When they don't mention it most likely has two antennas/interfaces, since Dual Band requires at least two interfaces. From my experience Linksys is not bad, but some of the devices don't have such a good range and speed, I would rather get something from the WRT series.
    Another option could be the TP-Link Archer C9. TP-Link never failed me, been using its devices since 2011.
    I've heard ASUS is also good, but I can't say anything more until I try it out. They seem to have stole the spotlight, especially the more expensive ones.

    kristofk got a reaction from minibois in Black Ops III trailers: who noticed what?! Theories
    Hi guys,

    I don't know if anybody has noticed but BO3 is probably going to go to Cairo's underground.
    In the 1st teaser we had a coordinate that led us to the 6 October bridge and the 3rd Reveal trailer shows a glimse of an underground that I think is in Cairo.

    Screenshot from the trailer:

    On the picture we can see a map that shows an island in a river just like the coordinate's location on Google maps:

    (the star is where the coordinates point at) also in the map we can notice tonns of Metro "entrances". Also the writing on the bench look similar to the text on the map.

    I was able to find a picture of a Metro station in Cairo called Mohamed Naguib:

    Similar right. The tiles, the colors and the red thing, not exact but remarkable. (other metro stations: Al shohadaa and Mubarak look similar to this as well)

    I noticed that one of the shown character is wearing a suit that has: "06" on it and on an other person' gear: "80" like they are numbered:

    06Guy has robotic arms and legs.

    But 06 is worn by a woumen as well:

    My theori is that we are going to play as the guy06 since most footage is of him.

    Most robot soliders are wearing a logo of an "N" and a star mostly with blue background and accents: (N*)

    The music is from the Rolling stones: Paint it black which is an old song so it can hint us the large timespan in which the game is going to take place in.

    If you pay close attention you can see booster on soliders' body kind of like an Exo Suite:

    Also if you watch closely countless soliders loose 1-2 bodyparts:

    and as we have seen in trailers disability isn't a problem anymore.
    There are soliders with ear and  eyes.... replacaments.

    In the 2nd trailer when we see people protesting we can see a red-white-? colore flag which is either hungarian or Egypt

    Hungary because there is no symble in the middle and also the trailers title: "Ember" in hungarian for "human" / "man" so it would make sense.
    Egypt because of the clothing of people and the seenary, because the coordinates lead us int Egypt.

    What else did you guy notice?
    What flag is the flag?

    kristofk reacted to Travis in Introduction To Bitcoins and mining altcoins
    NOTE: This is not an introduction to bitcoin mining.
    This thread was made to try and help anyone interested in understanding what they are and how they work, using the best of the knowledge and experience I have of them. I am by no means an expert. There is much about them that I do not know.   What are bitcoins? They are no different than a dollar bill you hold in your hand. Except for the fact that it's being held in your computer's hand, so to speak. The first thing to understand about currencies is that their worth is totally arbitrary. Think of currency as replacing the word "value". I can begin paying for items in paperclips as long as me, and the people receiving them accept their value. Bitcoins are simply a decentralized, digital currency. Decentralized means they don't have something like the Treasury here in America regulating and watching over them.   How do I get bitcoins? By running "mining" software on your computer is the best way to produce bitcoins. The term mining in bitcoin speak means using your computer's processing power to calculate many many hashes per second. These hashes you calculate help the bitcoin network run effectively (more on that later) so you are rewarded for your help.   What is mining? This is the most misunderstood part of bitcoins so this section will have a lot to explain. To understand why we mine, you need to understand at least the basics of how the bitcoin network operates. Mining is done to protect the bitcoin currency and the transactions of bitcoins that people send. When a transaction is made, the data is sent to the bitcoin network. Transactions are stored in chunks called "blocks". When you mine, the bitcoin network sends you a block to "solve". Your computer takes it and randomly shuffles the information inside of it, then calculates a new hash for it. What the miners are mining for is a hash that is smaller than a certain predefined amount. (starts with a certain number of zeros. Since the hashes are randomly generated, you can imagine how unlikely that many zeros in a row are) This amount is the "difficulty" which is calculated automatically by bitcoin software based on how quickly the blocks are being finished by the miners. This corrects for increasing hardware performance and mining speeds. Once a block is finished by a miner, the new block and new hash are sent back to the bitcoin network. If it is confirmed to be correct, the miner is rewarded with bitcoins. The current reward is 25 bitcoins per block. The reward for a block is constantly diminishing until eventually, there are no more bitcoins to give out and all roughly 21 million bitcoins are in the market*. Due to the popularity of bitcoins and the large amounts of money that people spend on mining rigs, the difficulty is high enough that a very expensive equipment would have to run for months just to solve one block. This would certainly be inconvenient for anyone wanting to mine. We fix this by creating "pools". A pool takes place of an individual miner in a sense. They take the blocks from the network and instead of one person calculating hashes, the pool sends the job out to all of the miners that are in the pool. For example, I mine for the BTC Guild pool. When the pool finishes a block, it divides the reward (as evenly as possible) to the miners depending on how much work they did. This gives people a nearly constant flow of income and allows cheaper hardware to mine. Blocks sent to the network are calculated in a special way so that they can certify validity of the previous block. This confirmation process creates a "block chain" which is what makes the currency so great.   Bitcoin transactions Every transaction of bitcoins that happens is logged and can be publicly accessed. This, by definition, can forfeit the anonymity of the currency. You make transactions using an "address" which is randomly generated by software and is not tied to your true identity. Everyone can search any transaction that has been made but there are no identities attached so it actually makes it very difficult to trace. Bitcoin transactions can not be reversed.    Random Info *Q: You said there are 21 million bitcoins? After they are gone, what happens? I can't get them anymore? A: No, you just can't get "new" ones anymore. Once the pool of bitcoins is depleted mining will still be essential to the network and you will still receive a reward for your work. When transactions are made, there are small transaction fees that are taken out. These fees are the rewards given to the miners.   Q: Are they legal? A: Yes. Nothing about them is illegal.   Q: Don't people only use them to buy drugs? A: NO! Stop spreading that. They can be used for anything just like other currencies. The fact that drug dealers on TOR accept them, doesn't make them bad.     There is so much more about them to know but I made this relatively short. Have questions? Post them in this thread and I will answer!

    How is this not helpful, I am recommending an in-depth virus scan and if that does not resolve the issue a windows reinstall, the only reason I did not recommend using the Windows refresh feature is that I find the it often does not work and will fail.

    Obviously if the virus scan fails to find the virus then the virus has taken control of the OS Kernel or is a really well hidden rootkit and the only to fix that is pretty much a restore or reinstall
