Stormseeker9 reacted to DigitalGoat in Do I have a key logger/screen logger of sorts?
Check your accessibility options, possible you have accidently activated read aloud or similar with a key combo, either Windows settings or Acrobat.

Stormseeker9 got a reaction from Origami Cactus in Do I have a key logger/screen logger of sorts?
I mean yeah you are right, but as I never seen it before just wanted to be rather safe than sorry.
Thanks 🙂
@DigitalGoatYeah looks like I hit a wrong key combo which activated it.
Thanks to both 🙂

Yes that was the issue. After update I got POST. Thanks

Stormseeker9 reacted to Needfuldoer in Is this likely to damage my motherboard?
It will be fine!
I'd worry more about scratching the table than frying the motherboard, to be honest.

Stormseeker9 got a reaction from Sarah9780 in Is this likely to damage my motherboard?
Don’t see why this would damage the mobo.
you are fine ;)!

Stormseeker9 reacted to Arika in Actually offended by watching LTT monitor reiview today
that sounds like a you problem if you're getting offended over something that is essentially a first-impressions /unboxing video.

Stormseeker9 reacted to APross44 in Noob question on PC build
So solved it. Like I said it was something stupid.
Bad module.....I tested each stick by itself and 1 would post with xmp enabled and the other wouldn't post at all but would show up under the total size.
Thanks everyone! Now I just have to go to microcenter to make the exchange.

Stormseeker9 got a reaction from da na in Dual PSU's powering car subwoofer
Why not get an amplifier (need one anyway) and wire it all to the CSR / car battery?

Stormseeker9 got a reaction from BiotechBen in How to build a workstation with high end AMD Epyc, 4x RTX 3090, 256GB RAM?
Wouldn’t perhaps those RTX quadro cards be better suited for your application? IIRC they were good for these type of things (deep/machine learning)

Stormseeker9 got a reaction from bmx6454 in Bios having a different date than on the manufacturers website
Why are you updating your bios? Did something stop working? Is there an issue?
generally recommend not to update a bios unless you need it as if it goes wrong one can brick their board

Sound like the board OP has may not the best choice for that CPU.

Stormseeker9 reacted to Imbadatnames in Why is Linus talking about Elon Musk on every Wan show?
Are you forgetting PayPal? He didn’t start at Tesla
The hard work at both had already been done, the product was successful literally all he did was provide backing, oust the founders then in teslas case essentially ruin that product.
Merc released an electric SLS as a party piece in 2013/14.
Look at the EQXX, just a research project for the next gen of EQ cars but got 1000Km. The EQS also does 780KM supposedly, 100 more than Tesla can supposedly do.
Battery size is governed by the design, a larger battery also provided more longevity. Plus you don’t know how much of each is being held in reserve as a buffer.
Mercedes has been granted level 3 self driving in Europe, Tesla has level 2.

Stormseeker9 reacted to GuiltySpark_ in ISP Speeds are high, Computer receives way under half. I do have a theory.
Clarify the topology for me. There is the main Eero unit somewhere that is wired to whatever is on your roof/the modem, correct? That main unit, you are wired with Ethernet directly to it? I read the whole thread and I still feel like there is a wireless leg somewhere that we're missing. You're not wired to one of the satellite's, correct?
I ask people who I interview at work to do this. Describe for me every device, cable or wireless link from where the internet enters the home to how it gets to their PC.

Stormseeker9 got a reaction from saba17 in Help needed!
From a quick google this seems to be an issue often with Dell.
https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/nl-nl/000133480/uefi-and-secure-boot-faqs
perhaps try to get into bios and switch this https boot off and see if that solves it

Stormseeker9 reacted to RONOTHAN## in Overclocking Support
Technically, any A320 board doesn't support overclocking. BCLK OC might be possible (pretty unlikely), but even at stock I'd be surprised if that VRM doesn't blow up.
-
Stormseeker9 got a reaction from Levent in Overclocking Support
Not sure but you don’t want to be OC’ing on a a320 board. B450 would be more recommendable from that ‘era’

Stormseeker9 reacted to Eigenvektor in Adding Ram sticks to MOBO, Same manufacturer and CL, different timing
There's a slight chance it won't work, but most likely it will. In any case, if you mix different sticks, your RAM will work at the lowest common speed/highest common latency, negating your reason for buying tighter timings in the first place.
You can always try overclocking the sticks. But if your old sticks can run at the tighter timing, you've essentially lost the reason to upgrade in the first place. Aside from that, you're very unlikely to notice a difference between 16-19-19-39 and 16-16-16-36 in anything other than benchmark numbers.

Stormseeker9 reacted to jaslion in Which case do you suggest for a fairly mid range system?
That case has TERRIBLE airflow because it has all closed panels. The front is entirely closed off. It's not a good case. You need a case with an open mesh front.
Fans won't do anything if they are trying to get air through a wall.
