i have had both my razer crapped out on me and the Logitech still kicking. i like the feel of the Logitech more and just not happy with the 6 months i got out of the razer. I liked the feel of the mouse and the software/customizability that it had more than razers even tho i have a Razer headset and keyboard. i personally will stick with Logitech for the mouse.

if you are doing gamming only stay away from sli. it will only make your life harder and sometimes it will hurt your frames even.

option 2 or option 3 are gonna be your best bet. Just one thing to keep in mind is 1440p looks awesome but it is close to double the number of pixels  of 1080p. these displays will take a lot more power to run. if you want high refresh 100+ you will have to downscale the resolution in alot of modern games. I have had the acer and yes its not 1440p but personally, i like higher refresh more. it was really smooth and i personally love that monitor so much. The gtx1060 is best at 1080p but if you plan on upgrading soon and resolution is important for you go dell.

EK liquid cooling aluminum custome loop a240 $160 nice but spendy
Corsair H110i v2 about $110 this is an AIO
ARCTIC Liquid Freezer 240 this is$77 and is a good less
    expensive AIO
for expensive air Noctua NH-D15 this one is amazing if you got the money and space i recommend
for bare minimum Hyper 212 EVO  tho be care full there isn't a ton of head room if any $30
for Cryorig H5 Ultimate for $45
mid range air go Cooler Master Hyper D92 for $40 or tho  i would go for Noctua if you can or an AIO cause intel gets hot!!!

what do you mean by upgrade? Yes, you can add more ram and replace storage. For gpu and cpu no you can not replace those they are soldered.

showerhandle got a reaction from PortzJ in MSI Laptop Worth it?
i wouldn't go for it the screen is toast and repair isn't super easy and the parts aren't cheap, you would at the very least need new battery and screen and that will set you back quite a bit in cash, that's assuming nothing else is wrong and even if you get it working you will have a slower cpu, that gets very hot and is heavy and just burns through battery. Unless your the kind of person that likes to fix things for the fun of it don't go for it. there will be no profit in it and it will take a lot of time and money that just isn't worth it.

the performance of the Gtx 1060 is only slightly better than a r9 280x. If you want a Nvidia gpu defiantly go the gtx 1070 or 1070ti at least, otherwise you wont see a huge increase in performance.

Yeah you should be fine to run two fans off a single header, I run a 120 and a 200 off one header in my machine currently.

showerhandle got a reaction from JonnoLags in Which of these budget headsets is best?
avoid astro like the plague.  Personally i think the Corsair are more comfortable but i have a odd head shape. Alot of people like HyperX headphones. The hyperX are a little more sound reducing . They have similar low and high Frequency's. The Corsair does have inline control so if you want that go Corsair. Otherwise go for what you think looks better.

Take it. A 1070 costs over $400 now. It might drop after 1070ti become more available, but the same amount of money for a 1080? No reason not to take it.
