Yeah, its not the best. I was putting together a Gaming friendly build. Its funny though that all of that is still cheaper than a single 1070.

also, you won't really need 16gb right now its a massive waste of money.

I have a PC, look below. This would just be to retire that PC until Zen 3 and the new GPU options, @ that point I will build a new system with R7 and whatever is the best budget friendly gpu at that time.

I'm using a 600b and it's terrible. Just bought a new PSU And hopefully that'll fix:

CPU not wanting to overclock (>4.1 at <1.3v)

ram not wanting to run at cas9/1600 (rated for that

motherboard writing garbage to my HDD/ssd

shutdowns when intensive parts of games happen

I wouldnt go a for a 1030 they are marginally better than the apu by like 3 frames, its not a huge improvement.

You get actually double the storage capacity (and higher performance SSD) by going 8GB RAM, and faster RAM on top which is very necessary for the Ryzen APU.

This class of video card should be more than 2x the power of the iGPU in the 2400G. So if you don't mind buying used, this is way better imo

I think I'd rather go 500GB SSD than 3TB hard drive. SSD space is a lot more valuabe. And the Sandisk 3D Ultra trades blows with the 850/860 EVO.

but i'm 60$ under you and for 620 you are getting now into 1050ti range.

I don't get it.

Go 8GB of ram, remove the SSD or the HDD (you can add one later), get a cheaper case. -> GTX 1050 Ti.

Wouldn't this cost more or less the same?

Either live with the SSD's 240GB for a while or just get a HDD and then you fresh install windows when you get a SSD.

 

I see all the time people with very short budget wasting it on SSD, case and more than 8GB of RAM. Don't get me wrong, SSD is amazing, but won't gave you fps and you can add one later any time, same for ram.

i say drop 2 8 gigs of ram and get a nice modulator power supply from corsair  in the 650 range less cable and the power to a high end gpu later on
