just tilt reacted to jaslion in Advice regarding case fan purchase
Yup. It's how these cases function best as they pull some air from other places too then. It's the best you can do in this bad airflow case.

just tilt reacted to jaslion in Advice regarding case fan purchase
The s340 just sucks for airflow and is another negative airflow case to get the best performance out of it. So basically stock config with the best fans you can afford which would either be the Arctic p series or the noctua nf series.

This drops the 1080 for a 1070ti (performs within about 5% of the 1080 and more than enough for 144hz)
Drops the 8 core ryzen for the 6 core (also 8 cores will be overkill for your needs here)
Swaps the freesync monitor for a Gsync one. Price is pretty much identical to the build above.

just tilt reacted to dfsdfgfkjsefoiqzemnd in why are my textures not loading in on gta 5
Back in the GTA:SA days I already noticed that GTA had issues with HDDs once you started modding. On an SSD the problems disappeared.
You may be running into the same issue. If the game can't read the proper textures fast enough from the HDD, it will either show the low quality ones or nothing at all.

Greetings:
1) If you're not going 4k (or even then) you can get a perfectly capable machine for far less; don't waste your money.
2) The OS refers to your operating system (i.e. windows, linux etc.); it's not the same thing as your hardware.

Welcome to LTT forums!
First of all; what's your location?
What will you be doing on your PC? Any video editing/rendering or just playing video games?
Im guessing your budget includes peripherals (mouse and keyboard), monitor, and a operating system?

I kept the Z370 chipset just to give you an easier upgrade path if you overclock in the future. You can just drop in a K chip and be good to go.

just tilt reacted to Tabs in RAM PRICES ARE INSAAAAANE!!!
I RMA'd my Corsair Vengeance LPX 32gb kit two weeks ago. Since they needed the entire kit (4x8) back to RMA one module, I contacted them to do an advance RMA - they charge my credit card, send a new kit, and refund once the rma is processed and the old/faulty modules are returned.
They charged $625 to my card for the 32GB.

If there isn't one there, its a fake page.
Don't bother with it.
