RAM PRICES ARE INSAAAAANE!!!

Literally, when the hell are RAM prices going to go down for DDR4? 

and what has happened with RAM ? A shortage in ram, sellers abusing it? 

200 us dollars for 16gb is totally over priced!

It's not about "gossip" it's about WHEN the price is going to go down since it's been a year and a half now and why they are still up

I RMA'd my Corsair Vengeance LPX 32gb kit two weeks ago. Since they needed the entire kit (4x8) back to RMA one module, I contacted them to do an advance RMA - they charge my credit card, send a new kit, and refund once the rma is processed and the old/faulty modules are returned.

 

They charged $625 to my card for the 32GB.

the major manufacturer companies colluded to make supply short so that they could artificially increase the prices. There is lawsuit already in play against them for price gouging and other FTC laws being broken.

hopefully it gets sorted out in the near future... can't work on any builds because ram costing the most out of all the components... LOL

So, to answer your question about "sellers abusing it?", the answer would be yes.  The sellers are abusing it but as I stated above, they are doing it solely because they can, just like the video cards.  It is called the "Law of Supply and Demand."  In case you don't understand what that is, it states that as the desire for an item(s) rises, so does the cost for that/those item(s).

 

So, where did you get the stupid idea that I enjoyed getting taken advantage of by the sellers?  Maybe it was just your ignorance in not knowing or understanding the laws of supply and demand.
