No it's perfectly fine, the psu isn't even close to it's limits.
I'm expecting the system to need 400W peak in a worst case scenario.
Don't worry the psu is perfectly happy.

I agree with you when you're talking about the NF-F12, but if you get industrial fans you can get:

Since you're on such a tight budget, I'd keep the monitor. It's actually decent.
At $350, you're never going to be able to game using three monitors, but if you'd like them for productivity, go for it. A tip on running multiple displays: try and get them as close in size as possible. My dad has a 27" and a 21" monitor and I can't use them at all because of the jump in size difference between the two monitors. I have a 21" and a 20" monitor and it's great for productivity.

    Fair enough.
I think they should have raised the end of the fan shroud and put it in line with the backplate. I think that'd look a lot better.

Glad you like it, Thanks for the comments! Just a small update as my free time to work on this is getting more scarce. I've been bending the tubing and learning the ways of the Stainless Jedi. I love the look of stainless steel. It echos the fuel and brake lines on race cars, but has it's own learning curve. In retrospect, the scale of PC chassis is just too small for the 1-1/2" bends you get with the SS bending mandrels I've found.. Suppose I could go thicker wall and make custom mandrel, but I'll try 3/8" OD instead of 1/2" OD next time.
    Specs: Stainless T-304/304L, Seamless Tube, 0.5" x 0.035" x 0.43"

MightyMic got a reaction from TheProphetGaming in What for and When is a reservoir used in a water cooled build?
Among what the others have said, it also helps prevents cavitation depending on how your loop is set up. Cavitation is where air bubbles form in the loop and it causes the pump to make a grinding/choppy noise. It also severely reduces a pump's lifespan.

In AIOs it's not much of a problem because they can fill the entire loop up completely with virtually no air in the loop to cause cavitation, but it can still cause problems.

Honestly though I doubt this really is much of a problem. I just know that having your reservoir above the pump helps prevents this from occurring.

This is just fan boys trying to one up each other. Both nvidia and radeon have had good drivers and bad drivers.
Historically ATI had terrible drivers (before they were purchased by amd). They were so bad that the open source drivers preformed better. That's no longer the case and both nvidia and amd have had good driver and bad drivers (which they now fix pretty quickly).

That said, both nvidia and amd cards use the same process to overclock just pick your favorite software (precision x, afterburner, etc) and go to.

MightyMic got a reaction from Carlos1010 in How does a GPU pull power out of a motherboard?
The PCI-E slot spec is 75 watts of power. You typically have 6 pin connectors or 6+2 pin connectors which provide most of the power. The problem with the RX 480 is that it only has a 6 pin power connector which is also only supposed to provide 75 watts of power. 75 from PCI-E and 75 from the 6 pin gives you 150 watts of power. The RX 480 would pull more than 75 watts of power from the PCI-E slot. On new motherboards this usually isn't a problem. I've read that they usually (not in spec) have an extra 4 pins that can provide more power than the standard 75 watts. But since this is outside of PCI-E specs, not all motherboards have these extra 4 pins (especially older motherboards). Radeon's new driver is supposed to limit the draw through the PCI-E to 75 watts and, if the card does need more power, will draw it from the 6 pin connection directly from the psu.

That's my understanding. If someone spotted an error, please point it out, because I'm trying to learn this too.

If you're into light gaming are a power user, this is actually quite a nice system. If you're more into gaming, I'd go with an i5 and spend the extra $100 on a nicer gpu
