Not sure I have enough power

Brian A

Hey guys, This is my first post so sorry if this question would be better suited in a different forum category.

I recently built a new rig with the below components

Fractal Design r4 case

Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0

gigabyte gaming 7 z170

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) memory (2133 clock speed)

OCZ  M.2 128GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 MLC Internal Solid State Drive

WD Black 1TB

GTX 1080 (Founders Edition)

Corsair H100i v2 Liquid Cooler (2, 120 mm fans for radiator)

3, 140 mm case fans

an addition (1) 120 mm case fan

Using some power calculators online to guide my purchase, I currently have a EVGA 80 PLUS GOLD 550 W power supply and it just kinda of hit me that this doesn't seem like enough power for all of these parts.

There haven't been any random shut off or crashes so far. I just wanted to get a second opinion. Do you think 550 W is enough power for my rig? Perhaps upgrading it to maybe 650 W?

Thanks for the help every one!

No it's perfectly fine, the psu isn't even close to it's limits.

I'm expecting the system to need 400W peak in a worst case scenario.

Don't worry the psu is perfectly happy.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

That system will use no more than 350W ever. You'll be fine.
