I doubt the big tech companies will agree to this, especially twitter. Pretty sure everyone knows that have a bias CEO and management team, they would rather keep control than have an open platform.

From what I've seen, Antifa does exactly what the blackshirts did in fascist Italy and what the brownshirts did in nazi Germany... Which is to shut down speakers with other, often opposing views. Those fascist groups actually counted an intervention as a success if they got the speaking event canceled because of their actions, they would shout other speakers down, protest and even beat them up. See any similarities?

That's great and all, don't really care much since people complaining about politically correct is quite mainstream and the best thing you can do about it is ignore it, what I do want to know is: Will they address this?

TacoSenpai reacted to LinusTech in Toto, I don't think we're in China anymore - US companies adopting social credit score system
I've purchased almost everything I've ever owned on credit card. I got my first one (co-signed by my parents but they never paid anything for it) when I turned 16 and I've never looked back. Some of the 'passive' benefits of using a credit card for everything include things like extended warranty (even on cheap/free cards) on electronics items.

I would regularly (and this was over 15 years ago, so surely the technology is even better) buy something on my credit card, then immediately log into my bank and transfer from my bank account into my credit card. I always overpaid by a few bucks just in case I forgot about a couple small purchases, and in my life I've never paid credit card interest (PERSONALLY.. We've flubbed a couple bills for the business and ended up paying some interest, but far less than the cashbacks we've received so it's still a net gain even there).

The extra benefit of having a credit card as a young person is that it helps build credit. I've seen some people say credit is unnecessary or even that it's inherently evil, but they're simply mistaken. Credit is a tool. When used improperly it can cause harm, but when used correctly it opens up possibilities that would be otherwise unattainable. Without credit I couldn't own the house I live in, or the business I now run.

I don't NEED credit anymore, but I continue to leverage it because in the right hands it's a very powerful tool.

With all of that said, I personally know people for whom I would never recommend getting a credit card because they just don't have the discipline and/or the attentiveness to control their spending or pay it on time :s

It's a $300 game console meant for everyone from 6-year-olds to 96-year-olds... I'm not sure what you were expecting, a glass back and stainless steel Joy-Cons?

It feels just fine; it doesn't creak or otherwise feel cheap.  And I'd rather, y'know, have fun playing games on the Switch than fuss over material choices.  Radical concept, I know!

Aaaaaaand that will negatively impact your credit score for some asinine reason just like not using your credit card enough does.

I already hate the credit system with a burning passion cause it makes no God damn sense to borrow money when you have it available. Those "Rewards" always just do happen to expire or devalue right as your about to use em, and being a good person and checking your credit score can lower it.
Anyone remember when one of the big 3 was hacked and leaked a bunch of people's info?
    Grrrreeeeeeaaaaat system.

I would suggest you inform your boss immediately, and say you would love to help train your replacement during the weeks before you move.

Also write a formal letter detailing the reason why you are quitting and when you intend your last day to be.

Six weeks gives them time to put out ads for your replacement, and also once they interview and hire someone, it gives you time to give them some training before you leave.

Your boss would be a moron if they fired you for quitting instead of taking advantage of the advance notice you’re giving them.

THQ Nordic announced today that the classic SpongeBob game Battle for Bikini Bottom will be getting a remaster for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and (most notably) the PC!
Originally released in 2003, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom was a platformer based on the show that released for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube. Quoting straight from the video's description:

The description also hints at a new multiplayer mode. Which is, to say, this game might have online (or maybe even local) co-op play, which might be really cool if it's done right.

Now, admittedly, a lot of you won't care. It's a licensed platformer that came out in the 6th generation that, really, American kids who grew up with those consoles will end up remembering. But it's got quite a cult following, enough to the point where it's getting remade.
By the way, this game isn't being developed by Heavy Iron; it's being developed by Purple Lamp Studios.
THQ Nordic also has some more reveals of other games coming very soon, if you're interested in that.

Personally, I'm truly hyped for this and I hope it turns out to be true to the original game. It'll be very interesting, especially, to see how the PC version will turn out. What do you guys think?

Can we stop classifying everything as a mental problem. People making bad choices and parents not keeping their kids in check doesn't make for a disorder.

I guess we should all apply for long term disability because going to work takes us away from video games!
