Nothing wrong with PNY cards. They're cheap because the demand is low.

Actually it will run dual core on non-pirated copies, you just have to do some file tweaking, i had to on my pirates version as well

Mine wasn't that loud (slightly hot tho, since I OCd my G3258 to 4.2GHz on it). I ran mine at full speed 24/7 and it was not that bad.

Nvidia is going to win. Because the card DOES in fact have 4gb. The fact that 0.5 of that is 80% slower does not mean that the 4gb isnt there. And the 970 is still a great card. People are just being asshats and looking for a reason to complain and try to get their money and more back

What are some good ways to stay up to date with the new tech/games/computer shiznit? I mean like websites, etc. Id prefer something i can read as oppose to watching. i sometimes will get the occasional magazine but they dont come out too often.

Im just worried that a pentium wont be powerfull enough? I plan on putting a gyx760 or 780 in at some point?

I've got a 5800k in my media pc. Its not that bad for light gaming as I use steam big picture and controller based games (which are less demanding than other games). A GTX 760 would spank my dual graphics config with an HD 6670 1gb.
As I dont 'recommend' an older CPU, if you can find one for less than $80 and you're on a budget you won't be disappointed.

trying to figure out what the best sub 100$ APU is. i didnt get a pc for christmas so i am gonna build a 300$ or so build and add to it as the year goes on. im looking at the AMD a10-5800l 3.8 ghz quad core. if there is a better APU please do tell. when i say better i mean able to proccess graphics faster and better. i will be playing in just 720p due to my monitor being only 720p. if there is an apu that is higher than 100$ that is better please do tell also i may spend a little extra.
