What is the difference between F@H Points and Score? On the webcontrol it says that I have 7,757 Points

post-63986-0-61909200-1432957256.png

but then on the F@H site it says I have a score of 758.

So, what's the difference in the two?

The F@H site doesn't update at the same interval as the web control from my personal experience. It's generally updated once every three hour or so.

Hit 100K points for the LTT team today. Doesn't seem like much to you guys with your big numbers, but I just run it on my work laptop while I leave it at the office overnight. I just can't bring myself to pay for the electricity to run my main rig for it.

I'll be cracking 2.6M shortly.  It was mostly folding in the winter when climate control of my office is much easier.  Such a hot rig, can't fold in the murderheat of summer.

However, I wanted to post this "milestone" because I just installed my new Gigabyte G1 GTX980Ti. Screw synthetic benchmarking... I bench for SCIENCE.

That's my PPD after letting it run for 1.5 hours, so it's probably about stabilized now. With my EVGA Superclocked 780Ti I never cracked 300k. Since I'd really like to stress test this card, I'm lettng it run all through the night.  Go LTT!

EDIT: After running through the night, it crawled up to 460k PPD.  Amazing!

EDIT2: Saw it at 508k PPD for one of the WUs. Awesome, almost freaking double the 780Ti.

Well I hit just over 40,000 in 2 days if that's anything compared to most of the people here with there new high-end processors :P

I hope when I get my new CPU and also put my FX 6300 to full use I can start racking up some better numbers in the future.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just hit 200,000 almost a month after I hit 100,000. Really wish I could fold faster, but that's all the work laptop can do and I can't really afford to run my home rig all the time.
