Starting January 1st, 2021, we will be handing out awards based on new higher folding badge thresholds. These new values have been decided due to the increase of power a GPU can provide; this has made it much easier to achieve badges in recent years. Anyone holding a current badge will be grandfathered in! This means you won't have your badge downgraded after the new thresholds come into effect.    F@H Badge Thresholds In order to be rewarded with the Folding @ Home badge, please

Broke the top 500 tonight! :) 
Been folding near 24/7 with my 4690k and 970. With my CPU at ~38 and GPU sitting a few degrees under 70, I see no reason to stop. 
Hopefully I can make it to a million points by the end of this week.

Just hit 700k total points earlier, I've gotten around 300k total points today, maybe a bit more, extreme.overclockers hasn't updated yet for me :(

I should have like 1-1.1million by tomorrow night if I stop getting core 15's so much!

 

I'm about to finish 2 core 17 35k credit WU's in like 3mins, then I'll have close to 800k :D

 

Oh I also climbed from like rank #600 to rank #450 today!

Once it updates I should have like 1.6-1.65m I think, I finished a few WU not to long ago.

 

Should be at 2.1m tomorrow, although my first 970 stopped folding for no reason when I got a new WU.   I got a core 15, and it just won't boost to do the WU, nor will it load the GPU.   It's doing the WU though, which I don't understand.

Nothing really special happened to me. My computer reaches boiling temperature when running F@H... I only have one fan. That's pretty much cheaply attached to the CPU.

Intel i5-6600k (Cooled by a 212 evo) - Asus Z170-A - Asus Dual OC GTX 1060 - NZXT S340 - WD 1TB (Getting SSD this month, hopefully) - 8GB DDR4-2400

i fold to cure people. OCUK was my first team i folded for so i stick with them :) i would be in about the same position on LTT anyway and when i have my 970's folding..... all the PPD! you know at one pooint ocuk with 40 active members was getting 10mil PPD! we had have a few people (the top 3) with multiple 4p rigs and they were getting 2/3/4 mil PPD each. shame they can't use them any more :(

I have also checked into getting a pair of 970's to fold with. But as for right now, I'm wanting to get myself a nice car for myself instead. (Looking at something like a BMW 320 E46)

yes. my priorities go house>car>pc. E46 bmws are very nice. they are fairly cheap for a decent one as well now :)

988 from nothing in one day :) I expect to get in the first 500 by next week, but my rig is not powerful enough to get in the top 100 any time soon ^^ (mainly because it's my only good computer, which means I have to pause folding to get other things done. and I only have one gpu).
