By how much where they overclocked?

Also.....how does something full of water catch on fire?

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Slow news day?  Big company finally  succumbs to law of averages and produce a product that requires a recall.

It seems Tweak town is the only source reporting on this and leave a'lot to be discovered.

First question brought to mind is that tweak town is reporting problems with others washers

but samsung has only listed and confirmed servicing the top load machines the one is the picture

is not a top load. If it were a top load machine we would see a nice cut out and the metal left on the

top this is clearly a front loader. To me it seems much more likely that that is a dryer and not a

washer from the picture shown.  Samsung Has had some problems with its washing machines

but none to this extent.

This article to me seem nothing more then tweaktown once again trying to get you click and come

on in nothing more nothing of true value or real reporting. Or we might see another source pick it up.

You didn't read the article then?

Since a recall took place in April 2013,    ... Samsung is now offering a free in-home service to try and fix the issues.

They have a recall on 150,000 units with 20 something fires resulting from the same models.  About 83,000 are still being used in homes.

So what? Accidents happen. Sometimes even faulty products.

But god forbid Samsung (or any other big manufacturer) releases one. "What is wrong with their QC" "Samsung is shit" "IIm never buying Samsung again"... Please people -.-

I'd sure as heck think twice about getting a Samsung washing machine after finding out there were 20 fires and 181 "incidents".

I don't expect everything to be perfect, I've had plenty of products break / break down in some way, but when something has a history of failing in such a way that could realistically burn my home down and possibly injure or kill my family you can bet I'll be looking else where for such a product.

So you will never buy an X phone because their Y model had a problem of getting hot and setting fire to the battery if a few cases (remember 200 machines isnt alot compared to how many they sell)? just because their WM1400XGR8 model has an oversight (that they are dealing with in a great manner) doesnt mean samsung is a shitty washing machine maker.

Let me give you an example. Would you never buy a toyota because their Corolla Verso model from 2010ish had to be recalled due to a brake pedal malfunction?

if they weren't offering such a thing they would face major problems, both in the legal way and consumer way.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

Yes the do, and functionally are quite good (silent, motor patents, good programmer (the screen with settings for the washing machine)

However, LG's are far advanced (even supports operating your washing machine through your app over internet, and troubleshooting with good  error messages, which when sent to support center, the technician for your washing machine will come prepared for the actualy error, and therefore you don't pay for diagnostics anymore) ) ;

Sigh, what a bunch of shitposting here.

Why buy anything? Every product line has glaring recalls and issues at one point. No brand gets away Without succumbing to the law of shit breaking, otherwise known as the law of average.

But go ahead, don't buy anything. Even my Bosch washer/dryer setup has had issues, and Bosch is up there. So is Meile, yet our dishwasher broke once already. I guess I'll never buy those again.... Or I will. Since I'm not 12.

Like some of you, your statements should read "my parents won't buy these again", cause some of you sure as fuck aren't mature enough to consider household expenses much less old enough (or well off enough) to get such things. But that's none of my business
