Cryorig are back again with the brand new to be launched H7 cpu cooler for the mainstream market which means that the hyper 212 dies again finally

brownninja97

56c.jpg

Cryorig are at it again and yes it is ok to soil yourself in reaction to this because Cryorig has made a sizeable impact with their current lineup of cpus with the H5 being a bit of a anomaly due to its lack of existence.

Back on topic what does this man meat of a heatsink provide you.

56b.jpg

Well first of all its got some nice curves on it, it helps that air flow with turbulence because a smooth entry isnt good enough, there has to be blood and screaming by the time that heat reaches the exhaust.

Its packing 3 6mm heatpipes(just like to take a moment before hyper 212 fanboys lose it, this cooler has more heatsink, more turbulence and a much more powerful fan so 3vs 4 heatpipes isnt a problem)

A height of 145mm because height doesn't matter just ask @LinusTech *wink

The honeycomb entry points allowing air to further increase the turbulence of the air.

Their brand new XF120 fans which if it follows the trend of their other fans will be a complete monster, alas it might get banned in Australia because it blows air too hard on women.

56e.jpg

As for the fans they spin at a few settings however I can only tell you the balanced version which is @ 1600rpm.

Its a shame that the fan has more then 7 blades because its the H7 get it harharhar.......

The blades arent completely plastic as that means they make less noise I mean go google the aerocool dead silence fans if you are confused.

56d.jpg

Sadly it doesnt use rubber for the mounts which might be a down side as some of the other rivals in this price range, namely everything raijintek makes has a lot of rubber so its a minor con, lets hope it doesnt change the end results too much.

56a.jpg

Of course you can also mount to the back of the heatsink if you wish, note that they havent said anything on Ram clearance but from the looks of it I dont think it will be a problem(real results could be different)

Nearly forgot, 6 years warrenty

Pricing:

UK: £25

US: $30-40(sources are changing their prices so im confused, averages are between 30-40)

Euro: €35

Lost it here xDDDD

Great news report as always; I haven't got a chance to play with a Cryorig cooler myself yet, but it's possible that I give this one a try!

Definitely better looking than the EVO that's for sure.

Indeed they are. Also nice news report as always, quite funny imo, but this link http://www.cryorig.com/h7_computex2014.php seems to be dead for me.

Until it reaches the low prices of the 212 evo then it beats it but until then the evo still wins with its $25 prices before rebates.

Evo is still cheaper but if this performs better and looks as good as the pictures they are teasing us with then I don't think people who care about looks and are on a budget would pass up adding something that nice looking to their systems for $10-20 more than a 212. That being said I don't understand the fascination with "Killing" the 212 but this is far from the first time I've seen some stupid quest to kill something that's popular by trying to make something else popular.

It depends, the evo goes from $25-30, sometimes to $20. This one seems a bit nicer for only a tiny bit more.

HAHAHA nice. Get rekt Australia.

So the R1 beat the NH-D14/15 into the dirt.

And the H7 beats the 212 EVO into the dirt aswell? Nice one.

so can a ereboss once to change the pathetic slim fan they give you. Alas the mugen seems to be more expensive in the uk however its still one hell of a cooler, sadly they havent seems to make a big dent in the world, there are only a few people which like them.
