Because I like doing things my way. Macs are Macs. You take what you're given and there no room for flexibility. With the PC I am not constrained in what I can do.

I play a lot of games....so I use a PC with windows....also I like money, that's a good reason not to get a mac.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

Technically but Mac fanboy prefer to think of it as a magic box which contains the soul of Steve Jobs.

PC does not equate Windows. Linux is PC also.

You can just make a hackintosh, it would even have better preformance. Seeing as you can ge all of the components in there machines for cheeper. In the end it is all user preference. If you want ease of use get a Mac but if you don't mind ease of use go windows. If your going desktop I would recommend going windows 7 or you can just get a program for windows 8 that will disable the ui so it operates just like windows 7. If you do go winodws 8 i would watch out when upgrading to 8.1 becasue i have seen some driver issues.
