I know I was turning mine off, but thats when I saw it. Mine was only on for 10 minutes though so I doubt it's ever really affected me

@Ben Quigleyis still slaving away cleaning up the spreadsheet but here's a peek at the stats with the understanding that this should be accurate as of today but we'll know more once he's done.

Good point - I believe the original log he posted showed OpenCL missing so perhaps that's why the FAHClient is not loaded.

Well due to this fan rearrangement, I've been able to get another 25 MHz out of the 1080, and 38 out of the 1080 Ti. Interested to see how much this will bring up my avg PPD. Probably like 50k lol

I take it some units are better PPD than others? Apart from an extra part time 580 I put on at the weekend, my production setup has been the same for a while. Thermal balance at home is also questionable...

Have a goal to make team top 100 by end of month but there is a 3 day GPU challenge at another project I need to switch to, with switching time that could take me out for 4 days. I might have to dig out my Maxwell GPUs too and hope I don't suffer a meltdown. Or do I put on CPU folding again?...

I think we might need to have a jank folding rig photo op coming up. lol

It's being resourceful , old t-shirt as a mouse pad , spectacle case , old charger , a book as a mount for air flow , removed dead keyboard for extra cooling

Last night I spent six hours trying to fix the sheet, for the most part it is fine and dandy but a few users numbers seem off and I can not work out why, when hes back online later I will see if @Gorgon can have a look and maybe he can fix the issue! The following four users have been identified as having under reported figures, @choccobear, @DUW1G1T, @D_Newb and @[REDACTED]. Guys, I'm sorry that I wasn't able to fix your numbers for this update and I am hoping Gorgon and come and find the elusive issue.

In first we have Tomerrs holding onto that throne with 79million points, The king is in second with 65.5milion, _Rlocke is in third with 51.4million, Jakkuh is in fourth with 50.6million. Fifth place is taken by Gorgon with a gap of around 18million points. Ben Quigley Sits in sixth with 28.8million, Followed by Dissitesuxba11s with 28.1million points, Porina has 26.1million points, Palespartan is in 9th with 23million points, Cereal5 is the gatekeeper of the top 10 with 21million.

Yabdat finds himself in 11th with 18.7million, Invaderzim is in 12th with 16million, TVwazhere follows with 14.2million. Willhemmens holds 15th with 12million. RollinLower has help onto 16th with just shy of 12million. CagedAnimalz, Stijnman and Sazrocks are all hovering around the 11million mark. And in 20th we have one of our question entries, DUW1G1T at 10million.

Most of the ranks seem to be pretty fixed for the time being, Tomerrs holding onto first, the king in second, @Yabdat looks like he can push a few more ranks up the table, Interestingly if @_Rlocke keeps up this rate of production there's a chance he could take the throne from Tomerrs. But, in the past we have seen 10million in a day from Tom so we will have to see how that goes.

The overall team has seen over 230million points of production over the last 24hours..

Please remember we have minimum participation requirements, these are 100k points, 15WUs, and 15 days of having activity over the course of the whole month.

Also, I just want to add that if we suspect you are purposefully just skimming the minimum requirements you may be disqualified. If we see you produce one WU per day for the last 15days for instance we may feel the need to investigate.

Thanks for everyone who is involved in this event,

Happy folding,

Ben.

I have plans to build a new desk setup where my PC is on top of my desk, for sure would eliminate every issue of dust!

Unfortunately, this desk setup revamp would only occur late 2018/early 2019 so I'll make do with the dust sandstorm I've been dealing with thus far into this folding month.

Yeah yesterday I was getting some golden 11719 WU’s with my 1080 at 1mil PPD, now today was back to normal, at 900k.

I take it some units are better PPD than others? Apart from an extra part time 580 I put on at the weekend, my production setup has been the same for a while.

Damn If I had had the 750ti yesterday, I might have hit 1.8M

My 1080 Ti is working through an 11718 rn and it slowed down to 850k PPD - 4-500k lower than normal, about what my 1080 puts out.

That’s a huge hit even for an 11718 WU. I usually go down about 1-200K on the 1070 Ti.

The funny part that was when I wrote that comment I then looked at the monitoring and saw that I was running 11718 on the 2070, 1070 Ti and one of the 1060s.

My only saving grace was the eldest kid finally decided to turn folding back on their 1060 at uni and helped out a bit. I guess threatening to not buy them a train ticket home for the holidays so they could ignore their parents did the trick ?

Careful, if you're not nice to the kids now they'll put you in one of those horrible nursing homes you see on 60 minutes where they force the old people to use integrated graphics.

Going to just fold Friday - Monday. Wouldn't mid being able to use the GPUs during the week.

Science gains through the weekend are pretty good anyway.

Do keep in mind the minimum requirements though. 15 days of activity.

EOC has me down for 11 days so far.

Next two weekends would be roughly 8 days of work. So about 19 total.

Just don't want to leave PC on rest of the week folding because the walls in accommodation aren't the thickest in the world. Everyone is away home on the weekend so it's good then. PC is one noisy boi. Also lets the room cool during week too.

/end fake bot before it becomes too much shitposting

In other news, looks like I'm back to 1.4M PPD based on the last screenshot. Can I go back to folding for whichever project that was that made my computer run on white lightning? No? Okay :(
