ITX case that can fit a 2,5 slot graphics card

Hello everyone!

I want to build a new computer and I'm thinking about using a ITX case.

My main problem is finding a ITX case that can accommendate a 2,5 slot graphics card, since I want to reuse the graphics card I got.

Does someone know a case that can accomendate a 2,5 slot graphics card or should I try to build my own case?

For example the Ncase M1, the node 202 and the Cougar QBX.

The Define Nano S also works if you're using a SFX PSU

I've got one and a 2 1/2 slot card in it right now.

dont mind the outdated advertising, it's doing my PC very well!

 Thanks for the suggestions!

I like the Ncase M1 the most out of the ones that are suggested.

Any idea if I would need slim fans between the graphics card and the case to supply enough air to it (if theres any space for it)?

I dont believe there would be any space for fans, but then again if your GPU is directly against the bottom mesh, it wont matter since they'll pull their own air just fine.

Here's an example build from @Densetsu, he should be able to confirm if there's enough room for 15mm thick fans or not.

Damn, That's my dream build ?

@Densetsu I see that your GPU had a temperature of 73C and 57,99C on the CPU.

Was this with the TG sidepanel or the perforated one?

Perforated. Temps increased only a few degrees with TG. I can still maintain my 5.2 OC while gaming, though will a bit more fan noise.

Silverstone RVZ-01 and variants of that case like the SilverStone Milo ML07.

Tried it with a Radeon HD7870 and an Accelero IV.

The Advantage of the Silverstone Case is that you can still use a pretty big Heatsink - something like the Noctua NH-L12s for example...

I have an NCase with a 2 slot GPU and use 25mm thick fans in the bottom positions. These just bearly fit. If the card were any thicker they wouldn't.

They do make 15mm thick fans which may or may not fit depending on exactly how thick your GPU is.

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX will definitely work. I owned the older version of this case 1-2 years ago and was able to fit my Asus STRIX 980Ti OC in it no problem. Now the case has seen a few minor upgrades including TG but it's a great case all around. Albeit nto the most compact ITX case on the market.

Thanks for the tip, I prefer the Ncase though since it's so small. ?

Yeah, the case isn't really that small and I am already using the Evolv ATX TG now.

I kinda want something new, thank you for the tip though. :)

I think you'll have a hard time finding a small ITX case with a big GPU but there are lots of good options out there. The new NZXT H200 and Silverstone RVZ03B look like cool options that would work.

I find the main issue with graphics cards and SFF cases is the height of the card (or width, once you install it in a traditional ATX orientation) rather than how many PCIe slots it takes up. The "standard" width is about 4", but a lot of higher end cards these days add an extra inch. While the card may technically fit, depending on where the PCIe power plugs are, it may or may not work.

Case in point, I couldn't use an MSI Gaming X card in my Silverstone FTZ-01 case because it wouldn't actually fit in the case with the PCIe power cables plugged in. Otherwise it would've worked just fine.

Ran to this issue when I let my friend borrow my 1080Ti FTW3 while GPU prices normalized. The EVGA LED stuck out too far along with the PCI-e connectors. We couldn't even put the side panel on.

Luckily the ASUS card is smaller in height (134mm), while the EVGA card is 142,69mm.

@Densetsu's build also fits a 1080, which has the same dimensions as the 1080ti (except for the height).

Height > width this time around I guess ?
