I'd get one, take the board out and put it inside one of these

People are complaining.. but this isn't something you put in an average build. It's more of a convenience if it can act as a meter and allow you to view how much power it's pulling ect. It's like if they put a little screen on a GPU that showed temperature.

It's a Platinum efficiency one, though. If it's anything like the Prime Platinum 1200W, it's not going to be quiet at all. The Prime Ultra Platinum goes up to 1000W, so probably not as quiet as that one.

All PSUs (even the most crappy ones) have heatsinks, the ones in the Thor are just more motherboard-like.
