M.2 ssd won’t show up as a bootable device

Did you select the upgrade option? You need to do the clean install option from the bootable installer.

Newly created build, no windows, have a usb for that, m.2 ssd shows up on bios as m.2 but not for a bootable device. Now my usb shows up fine, but can’t choose my ssd. If anyone knows how to format the ssd correctly without windows that’ll be a huge help

Have you installed windows on the m.2? With uefi boot it will only show drives with a os installed on. You format the drive within the windows installer, so no need to format it beforehand.

That's because there's no OS on the SSD yet. It won't appear in the boot menu until there's a bootable OS installed.

The Windows installer will format the SSD.

Why does the UI look so old, is that Vista? And what motherboard are you using?
