Pc won’t boot but lights up.

Shipped a pc out to my brother in hawaii and they were rough with the pc and now it won’t boot. Pc turns on when plugged in and the rgb will come on. Fans will try to spin but they all stop and restart shortly after. CPU was shipped separately so I don’t think it’s that. They did dent the case near the power supply. Idk I’m lost as to why it won’t boot, everything is seated correctly triple checked wires ram cpu gpu. I’m thinking either something is wrong with the mobo or the psu and I just need some guidance

If the PC was mishandled during shipping it could be anything, but most likely the motherboard.

What about the CPU cooler? Or the graphics card?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Yeah psu would cause that, at least I would imagine. Bent cpu pins?

I edit my messages more than not –

Probably some dude on the internet

what sort of PSU issue would cause something like this? Just asking.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).
I'm learning video editing and trying to get some cash as a high school student.
I like F1, my favourite team is Scuderia Ferrari and favourite driver is Charles Leclerc. Favourite track is Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Playing with a 1080p 60hz monitor right now, hoping to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz one soon.

Living in AU and that pisses me off since every event is late at night or early in the morning (almost every F1 race starts around 11 PM AEST time)

Check all the cables are plugged in properly on both he PSU and the motherboard end. Replug them. Make sure there are no damages to the GPU pins or anything, re-seat the GPU and RAM. Make sure the CPU pins aren't bent. Could really be anything. Does the MOBO look damaged?

The mobo looks fine

The cpu cooler was just left attached without the cpu and the gpu was left in during shipping because it was vertically mounted

the pcie riser for the gpu was broken during shipping but I ordered a new one. Pins on the gpu are slightly scratched but I can’t imagine that would cause all these problems

oh like something inside the PSU. I was thinking more like something in the cables.

What do you mean by slightly scratched? Maybe an image would help. Have you tried putting the GPU into another PCIE slot. Are the pins on the CPU fine? Motherboard do have lots of small components so it could still be that. I imagine it would be very very hard to rule out MOBO just because it has all those small pins on the back etc.

If you have a tower cooler it could have warped or flexed the board and produced damage that can't be seen by the naked eye

The GPU could have sustained some shock and you might want to troubleshoot by removing it  and boot with a different one, or in a different slot
