In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.

Brony is basically a guy who likes My Little Pony.

I'm definitely not as hardcore or weird as some of the other parts of the male fanbase.

Well, I know THAT part. But why? I mean, it is a kids cartoon right? Not that kids cartoons cant be amazing, I like spongebob a lot for example. But still, I never saw a SpongeBob fandom or people calling themselfs "spongebros".

That is what I dont get, why is it a big deal? Why it kinda defines a lot the people involved? Genuinely interested here.

It is a kids cartoon, yeah. The fanbase is mostly 6 year old girls and 18-20 year old guys.

I honestly don't know why it's such a big deal, but it's definitely a great show.

People love to find something to fixate on, to generalise and hate the fans of. Because of there being a small number of MLP fans they find weird or disturbing they extrapolate that to paint an inaccurate picture of the entire fanbase. It's the same thing with just about anything that's popular, though the MLP thing has gained particular notoriety for some reason..

I've tried watching the show myself. I can't say I'm a fan but I can definitely see why people can enjoy it, regardless of age. It's bright and colourful and has a lot of positivity in its story, characters and dialogue. And a lot of the underlying themes are relevant for people of all ages, more so than most cartoons aimed at the <10 year olds demographic.

So what you're saying is our distrust in Crunchy Dragon is well founded and that we should form a lynch mob. Got it.

Fandoms are usually groups people that are a minority (or think they're a minority) of people that heard of something and like it, while the majority of people either heard about it and dislike or hate it (and maybe outcasting based upon it) or people ignorant of it and really don't care to learn about it.

Liking SpongeBob isn't all that uncommon. Being a Brony is.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

I can crack my: finger knuckeles, feet knuckles by standing on my toes, my neck, my back and lower spine and I also am somehow able to crack my kneecaps by just lifting my legs when I'm sitting. And something that is actually unique about me is that I can literally wiggle my ears back and forth. And I can curl up my tongue.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

I think it's universally accepted that it's impossible to have something that is only unique to you in a world of 7 billion, however...

I think in this day and age, something I almost never see is people criticising themselves and admitting when they're wrong, which is something I've taught myself to do. A lot of people here may claim to be like that, but in reality if you're arguing with somebody and they've proved you wrong, you'll either extend the argument further or try and prove your point with nonsense - and I say that based on the fact that I regularly use 5 or 6 different forums and see this on a daily basis, yet don't recall one person admitting they could be wrong

I have mine, but they never bothered me, so I never had to pull them out. I think I read if your jaw is wide enough then it won't bother you.

Well, I'm almost near 30.  My Dad never had his, and seems I inherited that.

Poor dentist in the military got baffled when they kept X-raying for them but never find any trace of them.  :P

But yeah, if someone's jaw is large enough, wisdom teeth can come in without needing removal.

I'd say my ability to cynical and then flip the opposite when I know someone who I care about isn't feeling good. That and my personal goal to be as objective as I can.
