Whats the stupidest thing you have ever done?

Back when I was 15 I tried to chop down a very tall and very dead tree next to my house. About halfway through cutting into it a very large piece fell from the top and landed less than a foot away from me (which would have killed or seriously injured me), after that happened I came to my senses and called my cousin who actually knew how to properly down trees to come bail me out. Sitting there and watching that weakened dead tree sway back and forth for like 20 minutes waiting on him to get there was a terrifying thing to watch, could have destroyed the damn house or worse, hit the neighbors house or even worse, killed someone. Luckily he got the tree down and everything was fine, He was gonna help remove the tree but I just told him "no, I deserve this". lmao, I spent the rest of that day chopping it into pieces with my fucking axe. When I was done moving it all I spent the next day laying around feeling retarded and very, very sore. I mean, it was a HUGE fucking tree. Ahh....... I know it's a very misused and over used word, but holy shit am I cringing right now. xD

About the one thing that comes to mind to me is when I was still a jet troop on a C-17.

Forgot to press that little pressure relief button the IDG on the engine.  Proceeded to be sprayed by engine oil.  Stinking little button could easily be forgotten at times.  At least not as bad as other mistakes I saw while as a jet troop, or crazy stuff I saw on occasions at times.

Dumbest thing I've done? Probably hanging onto the back of a moving car. When I fell off I broke my wrist and fractured my tailbone. Hurt the flesh around my hip and side, though the bones there were ok.

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

As long as you haven’t written anything to the drive, you should be fine and it should be “easy” to get your data back

Bad advice! Very bad advice. Although it's going to cost a fortune, it's best to get professional drive recovery. Any attempt that you make to recover the data yourself is likely to make recovery by even a professional impossible.

Drove down a hill with a scooter without any protection, when I braked at the end of the hill, I fell of and scraped my left knee open. Luckily I've never broken anything or seriously injured me. There were just the normal cuts and burns but nothing serious.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

The ultimate question tho, is this:

Did you learn from your "mistake"?

If so, then it's not a mistake, simply a learning experience and knowledge gained.

If you did it again....then it's a mistake and *what were you thinking?xD

Anyone who says money can't buy happiness....never paid for a divorce.

Or

Why are divorces so expensive? BECAUSE THEY'RE WORTH IT!

Or

When someone gets murdered, the prime suspect is always the spouse...which is all you need to know about marriage.

if we're talking anything past the time that intel went lga and amd stuck with pga, that's about as believable as "wrong hole!"

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

I'm not certain. As far as electronics go I regret accidentally breaking a laptop or two.

Some backstory:

My family had an electric pencil sharpener when I was growing up. The kind that would automatically sharpen the pencil if you stuck it in the hole.

Well one day, when I was like 4 or 5, my brother was using the pencil sharpener and I got the brilliant idea to take some scissors and snip the power cord.

When I was 9 I loved electricity and burning things. I still do. However, I was an idiot. I made the conscious decision to stick a paper clip in a power outlet. It's a miracle I'm still alive

When I was 1 and a half, I was told not to walk along a concrete wall because I would fall and crack my head open. 18 month old me was bad at listening.... I still am, but yknow

When I was 3 I wanted to carry the carryout pizza from Papa Johns. I was probably holding it on the edges and to one side, because i turned around, and legend has it the pizza box fell over, and the pizza flew out, cheese down onto the rug. I hadnt even made it out the door. The guy working laughed a lot and made my embarrassed dad a new one.

When I was 4 I ran into a fence... I should mention that this fence was three inches in front of my face the whole time. I had been looking through it at another kid who was riding a tricycle and I wanted to tell him how cool he was, and promptly forgot about the metallic designated area surrounding me and decided i needed to run full sprint..... I'm 24 and I think I'll always have the scar on my eyebrows (if i was any taller at the time i might have lost my eye)

I make a lot of good decisions
